Yes, this song is for before the Mahsa Amini protests. The subtitle was not well translated, so it was incomprehensible. As for Afrasiab, he's a small rapper and not as popular as Tomaj, but it seems he hasn't been arrested (I'm not sure).

Firstly, thank you for always being an ally.
Let me explain a few things. He starts with "I am a survivor of Bloody Aban" because he was arrested in 2019 as well. He has been arrested at least 3 times. This video is filmed outside the very prison he was kept in, back in 2019. His ward in prison was 2A, and he references tons of files/charges against him, and the two people he mentions were in jail with him. Siavash and Arash are historical Persian figures of strength. He also mentions child workers as a reference to how bad the economy has gotten, very young kids must work and beg for money.
Neda Agha-Soltan (why he mentions being a sultan right after saying the blood of Neda) was shot on video in 2009 during the Green Movement. The Woman, Life, Freedom protest is most recent, Bloody Aban was 2019, but this fight is not new. Seeing Neda murdered on video affected a lottttt of Iranians on a permanent level so her name means a lot. You could literally see her blood, that he's referring to.
Lake Urmia is drying due to environmental mismanagement and greed from the IRI. The shot in the city of Ahvaz is referring to the 2018 military parade attack in Ahvaz, where military and civilians died. The judges and all the religious center is Qom ( ghom), not Ahvaz. But good guess! As for his Bakhtiafi heritage, they have a reputation for being incredibly brave and he takes pride in that.

As for Afrasiab, they are buddies and have done a couple of songs together. He is not in jail now, but he was for Aban. He is still in Iran. He posts about Toomaj and definitely worth following on Instagram. He put out a song pretty recently too.
Though Khuzestan is where the oil industry is and all the bloodshed for that. Mahsa Jina Amini was Kurdish. She's from Kurdistan. Very similar but also very different lol. And the translation on the Aban gasoline bit is correct because of Khuzestan's relation to gasoline, and the reason for Bloody Aban was a huge increase in gas prices. It's all connected!!
Oh and, the Mahshahr massacre was also during Bloody Aban protests of 2019 as well, and security forces circled people and mowed them down with machine guns. This song is mostly about surviving bloody Aban and reminding people to unify. Remember what we are fighting for. That's why he says remember... Rememer Bloody Aban and rest in peace to the thousands of young people that died in 2019 and before, and since.
