I always thought Willy didn't actually have anything much wrong with his teeth, his father was just obsessed with making them 'perfect' for some reason
lauryn sebrey that’s the thing with him, I feel like he represents formality, perfectionism, normality, while Willy Wonka represents care free, strange, creativity, expressionism.
I think wonka’s dad’s hatred for candy symbolizes the concept of not letting children enjoy their child hood. Sure candy can rot your teeth away, but it still gives a sweet and wholesome side when children eat it. Because his dad never let Willy have candy, it left out a since of childhood and warmth by trying to make wonka as a child become an adult as soon as possible. Of course, without the wonder of childhood and love from his father, their relationship became very distant. This symbolism in a way is kind of beautiful to me and teaches an important lesson: sure candy can rot your teeth in reality but sometimes you have to embrace the sweetness of it too.
Willy’s mother left his father, causing him to be a manipulative and obsessive helicopter parent. As of a result, Willy Wonka develops PTSD and childhood trauma.
No it was the era of supply chain being introduced. Machinery caused the layoffs of employees. Wonka also laid off workers because machinery (his pipes) and Oompas were costing him less. He used the spy situation to his advantage and labeled it the cause of layoffs because he didn't want to hurt the feelings of his employees.
Willy Wonka's father is actually count dooku who used the palantir of Sauron to reverse his vampirism and move his house away from his son before leading the CIS into the clone wars.

In my opinion, it's a story of a man with everything but maturity. Willy indulged in his favorite hobby, but because of its conflict with the responsibilities of life that Wilbur and his building symbolizes, he runs away from home and his responsibility. When Willy meets charlie, a child that had no choice but to take responsibilities head-on lest he and his family be impoverished for as long as he lived, He is brought to an internal conflict between his child-like love for candy and the creeping realization of his responsibilities. "The candy tastes bad because I feel bad" is a line that willy *says* that truly reveals the film's message that the presence and balance of responsibility and leisure is what makes life the sweetest. You can't enjoy candy with the pain of a toothache or the grit of decaying teeth. When Willy goes back to find his father, I believe that Wilbur's house has not moved, but all other establishments and buildings around his building have dissipated and moved on. The persistence of Wilbur's dentistry office is the manifestation of Willy's immaturity. I also believe that the job charlies father occupied (capping toothpaste tubes) has something to do with it, but i'm burnt out, and y'all probably get the jist.
Maybe willy wonka just wanted a child. Maybe he set it up to find the perfect son, that why he didn’t want the family living their too. Maybe him not having a good childhood made him want to give unlucky children what they want. Maybe he wanted to to see what child would fit him best and put them up to tests.
My theory: Wilber Wonka, seeing the advent of toothpaste and floss preventing cavities, realized that the only way he could save his dentistry practice was to turn his son into a resentful chocolateer. He made his son into the greatest creator of cavities ever to exist on this world --- all to save his own business... how horrific
If they hadn't seen each other in years, how did it take long for Wilbur to recognize his son and how the hell did the Glass Elevator lead them directly to the location of Wilbur's home?
Perhaps thats the default location for flying contraptions in this world and Willys father stranded himself there with a broken flying machine years ago?
Yeah i was always confused because Wilbur had newspapers pages around his office and all, but when a guy who dresses exactly like his son does on the every newspaper he has on his fucking office, walks in his office hes like "hey, come in stranger, oh hey, i know these teeth from somewhere... *wILLY* ?????? IS THAT U?" fucking Saruman, dude.
I think one of the more likely theories for Wilbur's hatred for candy would be that his wife (and Willy's mother) died as a result of terrible oral hygiene causing some sort of serious gum infection. It could also be the case, but with Willy considering the retainer, except this didn't kill him, which would mean that Wilbur's zero tolerance was some form of helicopter parenting. Of course, it could just be that he takes his job way too seriously. Probably that.
I've always wondered who Wonka's mother is? Maybe she died of chocolate poisoning and that's why Wonka's dad hates sweets? Why do they never mention her?
I personally don't think that Coraline will have another installment, all the storylines have been wrapped up, there's no more material to base it off of and its like fifty years too late.

Charlie convinced Willy to visit his dad which in turn showed Willy that family was important so he let Charlies family live in the factory. My theory is that Wilbur is dead and Willy is visiting him in a sort of purgatory.
Interesting theory! I love Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a kid and still do! But as you were explaining your theory, I noticed some things. For the location, it think it does take place in the same place, just in different decades. Willy from around the 70's and Charlie in modern 2000's. And the fact the atmosphere and a lot of the buildings look similar to Wilbur's home, could spark some discussion about that. And the fact that the competition took place after Charlie's birthday and his dad's lay off, is pretty solid evidence that Wonka knows about Charlie and that's why he chose Charlie. And something else, is that when Charlie gets the chocolate var and finds the ticket, a small theory could be that Wonka set up that bar so the shopkeeper would give that bar to Charlie, and the money could've also been placed there so Charlie could fins it and buy said bar, thereby giving Charlie the opportunity to get the golden ticket. Maybe I'm just thinking too hard but after watching this theory, it could be possible. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why spy on Charlie? What if they are distant relatives? Wonka searched the family line to identify a worthy candidate. Little did he know, his father was doing the same. He knew Wonka was looking for an heir to the company and had no children of his own. He knew Charlie would come up. That sparked an idea. Force Charlie's family into debt, a child who, like Wonka, was denied the beauty of chocolate. Keep tabs on him through HIS father who worked at the toothpaste plant. Set him up as bait. Two obsessive individuals who use others to accomplish their own ends, toying with a small town which they each own a part of.
Before watching the vid I always thought it was odd that he abandons an under aged chilled all alone because he was mad and of all places to go he chose Antarctica
The cannibal joke might be a sign that Sweeney Todd will happen in the late 200s XD They’re connected. Plus Barbers were also dentists and doctors. Try to change my mind.
You could also argue that Wonka himself is a majority share holder of Smilex and deliberately installed the robot to bankrupt Charlie's father as to put him in a more vulnerable position
With the intro I was thinking what if Willy Wonka’s dad was so strict on him about not having any candy in hopes that he would make a very popular candy company and he would have a lot of patients that he has to do expensive procedure on and he gets more money when they come to him
I see it like this. Charlie and the chocolate factory from the 70’s evolved into Willy wonka story, and morphs into snowpiercer... a new cinematic universe unfolds...
I always imagined that Wiliy Wonka's dad Wilbur became a dentist because his own dad - the grandpa - had great big iron dentures that Wilbur had to scrub when he was a kid.
It’s basically true because not only did Willy wonka’s dad was a dentist, but mostly the father figures from that movie are against candy as well like Charlie’s dad, the father from Augustus gloop, and vercua salt’s father, and even Mike Teavee’s dad. So I’m assuming that the over arching premise of this film is that the father figure plays a big role throughout out the whole film
I was waiting for you to say that Charlie's father was a partner with all factories that produced sweets because he wanted to encourage an increase in bad teeth hygiene, in order to produce more business for the dentistry practice. Which i why he didn't want his son to consume sweets. This is mentioned in the movie sample you showed "The upswing in candy sales has led to a rise in cavities". Since we're assuming he was also partners with the toothpaste company, he's tripling his profit. If Charlie established his candy corporation in the same town as his father's business then his father would just once again become a partner to this new factory (for the reason mentioned above) and keep tabs on his son. Additionally, if Charlie's father is a partner (or owner) of the toothpaste company Charlie could be made aware of the employee situation at the toothpaste factory via partnerships. In conclusion charlie is using his father's connections to spy on the employees of the toothpaste factory, and perhaps other factories in the area, giving him an advantage in the market.
There’s also a theory that Wonka time travels, that’s why the the Oompa Loompas had a choreography for each kid that lost, also that’s why Wonka knew who was going to loose. It would also explain the super advanced technology.
Willy's dad is probably the guy that hires all of those people to steal Willy's secret recipies, only to make his son give up on this dream of his. Willy's dad has been looking at Willy though newspapers this whole time, he might have made some action to try make his son give it all up.
I don’t think he ever fully ran away. If he had rotting, black teeth, it would show how he disregards everything his father taught him about his teeth. But then he still keeps them healthy and white so he clearly still thinks about him a lot. He’s not being a complete rebel so he still wants to impress him. So, he sets the factory up for the kids and Charlie wins so that he has a reason to go back to his father, without leaving the factory he created with someone who he doesn’t trust with it.
Haven’t been this early since I was born, and great previous video, and can you do a theory on the movie Clue proving how the butler is Mr body and how he controlled and got everyone to the house beside the obvious way.?
It seems to me that Wilber has some sort of magical powers....how was he able to move his apartment without damaging the surrounding ones or his own in the time that young Willy was in the museum of candymaking?
Not sure if this connection has already been mentioned in a comment or this video or another video, but I find it odd that “Smilex” is both the brand name for toothpaste in this film and the name of a sort of dangerous or poisonous gas made by the Joker in the Batman universe.
Can we get a theory on why Grandpa Joe was bed bound and couldnt have a job for 20 years,, but suddenly jumped up like a televangelist touched his forehead over a golden ticket and trip to a local factory. lol
I have a theory about who Willy’s mom is but it’s quite a stretch. What if she was one of the witches from the 1990's movie: “The Witches”? For those who don’t know, it’s a film adaption of another one of Roald Dahl’s books. It’s basically about a boy and his grandma fighting off a secret society of witches who hate children. The reason why I think Willy’s mom is one of the witches from that movie is because of Willy’s appearance and it would explain Wilbur’s serious hatred for candy. (Spoilers) in the movie, a very prominent trait that the witches have are purple eyes, and if you look closely at Willy’s eyes you’ll notice that his eyes are purple as well. The creators could’ve gone with Johnny Depp’s natural eye color but they chose to give him purple eyes instead for some reason. Also, the witches' main plan for killing children was by using magic candy, specifically CHOCOLATE. What if a witch from that same society left to become the wife of Wilbur Wonka and have a child of her own? We see in the movie that it’s possible for that to happen. By the end of the film, we see that one of the witches becomes good and helps the protagonists. It’s also stated that there might be other good witches in the world of that story. If Wilbur found out about his wife’s origin, it would explain why he hates candy so much and why she’s not a part of their lives. He couldn’t trust her or any candy made by the outside world due to her history of being a witch and killing children by using alluring sweets. So, Wilbur divorced her by the time Willy was born, took his son, and forbade him from eating any candy to protect him. I understand that this theory is very outlandish but I couldn’t help but make the connections. Sorry that this comment is too long and about any grammar mistakes I made...😓 I’m losing my mind over this...
This film being a sequel to the original could make sense. Charlie from the original movie adopts the Willy Wonka persona and it’s also why his dad isn’t in the original.

That's about it. Sorry about it being so long Thanks for reading.:)" -Hellocatz 2018
OMG YESSSSSSSSSS
nice
These are some very interesting theorize. Love it! Especially the one relating to Matilda.
OMG MIKE IT TOTALLY MATILDA’S BROTHER
His Charlie and the chocolate factory videos in order perfectly show his slow decent into madness
When Wonka found out that his dad was a Sith Lord.
All these years I never realized that Dracula was his willy Wonka's father.
Before watching the vid
I always thought it was odd that he abandons an under aged chilled all alone because he was mad and of all places to go he chose Antarctica
The cannibal joke might be a sign that Sweeney Todd will happen in the late 200s XD
They’re connected.
In snowpiercer theres a dentist scene towards the end of the film
I've read a comment that Verucas mother is also Willy Wonkas mom, which explains why there was a photo of her that squirrles threw in the trash
Imagine if Wilbur and Willy are the descendants of Saurman the White from LOTR
Only Sir Christopher Lee can make the word "lollipops" sound intimidating.
Well, this is the Sith Lord we're talking about here lol
"I've finally achieved my dreams."
"Good... Twice the pride, double the fall."
“I’ve discovered a terrible truth,
I believe Wilbur wonka is a Sith Lord,”
“A SITH LAWD?”
😂
I always imagined that Wiliy Wonka's dad Wilbur became a dentist because his own dad - the grandpa - had great big iron dentures that Wilbur had to scrub when he was a kid.
My question is how could Grandpa Joe walk after 20 years in bed?!
you do know they would have to get up to pee
@@dbzonic1 they could be bed panning it
*YOU FOOL IVE BEEN TRAINED IN YOUR JEDI ARTS BY WILLY WONKAS DAD*
It’s basically true because not only did Willy wonka’s dad was a dentist, but mostly the father figures from that movie are against candy as well like Charlie’s dad, the father from Augustus gloop, and vercua salt’s father, and even Mike Teavee’s dad. So I’m assuming that the over arching premise of this film is that the father figure plays a big role throughout out the whole film
*theorizer sees charlie in the chocolate factory* CHARLIE IS WILLIE WONKA’S GRANDPA CONFIRMED
Not Exactly Interesting
Okay what
“disguised count dooku” lmao

Was anyone else attracted to Willy Wonka...... just me okay I’ll leave
I am attracted to him too
Was when the movie came out and I was 6/7
still am and I'm 20
I love Johnny but Wonka is top 5 fav characters he played
I'm just attracted to Johnny Depp period except Gelert Grindelwald he needs tweaking
Girl, I'm late seeing this, but Willy was my boo til about 2010. Now it's been The Hatta, since. Lol😂
you ain’t alone 😭 I thought I just have a weird taste or something
I used to be scared of Willy Wonka, and now I look like him with blue hair and grey eyes instead...
The reason Wilbur dissapeared is to fight in. A battle in space for.many years
I personally dont even think this is so, just kinda brainstorming, but what if Willy and Wilbur are Charlie and his dad from a different dimension?
😶..Well Thats interesting 😂
doesnt make to much sense but i can kinda see where your coming from
OF COURSE he'd do all that to tell his son to floss. dentists love chewing (pun intended) people out.
Love how the music in the introduction is literally The Chaos from Dancing Line.
Theorizer, you’re no match for this dentist
He’s a Sith Lord
Oh, Chancellor, Sith Lords are our specialty.
Another amazing theory we will be pondering for weeks. Great work, Theorizer.
There’s also a theory that Wonka time travels, that’s why the the Oompa Loompas had a choreography for each kid that lost, also that’s why Wonka knew who was going to loose. It would also explain the super advanced technology.
I watched that video on the whole thing being a set up and now a continued theory this is amazing
Even the empire needed a good dentist. The empire taught him dentistry.
wonkas father had twice the fall, and double the pride.
wait did tim burton have permission from george lucas to use count dooku?
Yeah, it's really weird.
You must do theory about ice cream king from spongebob who is he and what is his origins
In the sequel book, the elevator flies to space. I think it can leave England if need be.
Count dooku used to be a dentist star wars canon.
Willy's dad is probably the guy that hires all of those people to steal Willy's secret recipies, only to make his son give up on this dream of his. Willy's dad has been looking at Willy though newspapers this whole time, he might have made some action to try make his son give it all up.
When I was little I thought that it was just a normal thing to be able to move you whole apartment
Yes! I love that movie it is so underrated
I feel like all of your videos are like Game Theory’s Sans is Ness but honestly I live for it I love your channel
Okay now I cant stop watching your videos. Guess I have to sub now!
View my “Best Theories” playlist for a good rundown of my channel
It seems to me that Wilber has some sort of magical powers....how was he able to move his apartment without damaging the surrounding ones or his own in the time that young Willy was in the museum of candymaking?
He uses the force.
The dark side of the force, that is.
wilbur hired slugworth to sabotage his son factory and to stop cavities
Just realized that Willy’s dad is Count Dooku
idk if this has already been mentioned but is that not snowpiercer on the wall at 6:11?!
Not sure if this connection has already been mentioned in a comment or this video or another video, but I find it odd that “Smilex” is both the brand name for toothpaste in this film and the name of a sort of dangerous or poisonous gas made by the Joker in the Batman universe.
The moral of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Twice the pride double the fall
Can we get a theory on why Grandpa Joe was bed bound and couldnt have a job for 20 years,, but suddenly jumped up like a televangelist touched his forehead over a golden ticket and trip to a local factory. lol
I don't know why but charlie in the chocolate factory scares me now...
what about the fact that his father kept a lot of articles and pictures of his son's factory and doesn't even recognize him when he showed up ??
I recently saw the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical and a major part in it was that Willie Wonka was the candy shop owner in disguise
Sorry that this comment is too long and about any grammar mistakes I made...😓
I’m losing my mind over this...
I really wanna watch this movie again, I loved it when I was a kid and always preferred it over the original. I’ve always loved Depp movies!
Charlie is the kid who later owns willy wonka's factory
Theorizer:makes theroy
Willy wonka director: ohhhhh I want this cannon
If this is a sequel
, the cold weather would be understood if the snow piercer/Willy wonkier theory could tie into this
Mike Teavee is my favorite character. He was the most relatable to me, Also he was the smartest and he knew what was going on with the tour.
thats impossible. hes a dumba- stupid kid, and hes also spoiled and bratty. unless your also spoiled and bratty, you have gotta be joking
Ok mr know it all watch the last video he put out on this theory it says it all in that video
@@xxjakie_ytxx420 ima girl and oki then- and also ik i was kinda dumb 2 hours ago and now i just realized he looks only aliTtLe hawT to meh-
Well maybe if you watch the video again you can interpret the meaning of the last video he put out. I’m just saying to re watch the video
Like Father, like son. Both are twisted spies
Count dooku was just mad that his son wouldn't be a sith and moved his house away using the force
I love this channel it's better than game theory :)
I ages
*gasp* how dAAaaAAaaaaarE you
@@Lozjozz lol
1:02 that 'hello" be sounding like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory
This film being a sequel to the original could make sense. Charlie from the original movie adopts the Willy Wonka persona and it’s also why his dad isn’t in the original.
He neglected willy wonka as he was to busy being trained in the dark arts.
