This is old information. There was a state bank scheme for solar financing at 6%, and Meezan Bank was offering it at 9%. But now this scheme is no more offered from state bank, and almost all banks are offering solar financing at 23/24 %. I am currently in the process of solar financing, so this is the current situation.

Very Bad services of Meezan bank specially Shalamar Chowk and Singhpura, Lahore branches staff behavior is so rude and careless. I have a bad experienced in above both branches of Meezan bank.

Dis-advantages in Bank Solar Financing
1- The offer is valid for selected cities.
2- They have their own authorized suppliers, who usually charge higher rates that market.
Most probably bank would take sort of commission to promote certain suppliers.
3- You can not have your choice.
4- Approval procedure is lengthy and annoying
5- Interest rate for one year is 12.5% and for 2 years app 18%. Keeps on increasing for extended years.
