      He is put to use by fake hand offs and slot reads for the big play down field but still he should get more touches because he will wear down all defenders during the game.

      He didn't run a 4.25... but the 18 mph is an average. They aren't taking, instant velocity and acceleration at any one point, yet just the average it takes to run 40 yards in 4.35 seconds.

    Keenan Allen is by far the best WR in that draft class and the San Diego Chargers stole him in the 3rd round. Teams fucked up passing on him because of his college injury.

    • @jcerby03
      @jcerby03 10 років тому +2

      ummmm was Patterson in that draft??? that boy is by far the best taken in the draft

    • @Frdgamer
      @Frdgamer 9 років тому

      MrYoyoman12345 Patterson was starting at the time of that comment. So… you are stupid.

    • @BarYesu83
      @BarYesu83 9 років тому +1

      Will Ford Tayvon Austin is a great punt returner...But I stand by my words that Keenan Allen is the better WR. He gave Richard Sherman the business and shook him out of his shoes at the line of scrimmage, and had 64 yards against Sherman in the Chargers defeat of the Seahawks in week 2... KA is 6'3" or 6'4", so he's 7 or 8 inches taller than TA. That is very significant. If TA doesn't get distance than the DB will usually prevent TA from making a catch, but in the case of KA, he's taller than any DB I can think of in the NFL. If he didn't break his collar bone I am confident my Chargers would've made the playoffs. It was win and we're in, but we had far too many injuries to beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead, unlike the year before....

    • @Frdgamer
      @Frdgamer 9 років тому

      BarYesu83 Tavon*not Tayvon…. also Kam Chancellor,Richard Sherman,Brandon Browner,Stanley Jean-Baptiste,Keith McGill,Sean Smith,Taylor Mays, and George Iloka are all 6'3-6'4

    • @jcerby03
      @jcerby03 9 років тому

      MrYoyoman12345 Yeah He was starting when that comment was made, and Kennan Allen Is raw but If you put them on the same team Patterson is starting over him. He's the type of guy that you just put the ball in his hands and watch him run. Idk why the Vikings either can't or won't do that

  • @milesjunior26
    @milesjunior26 10 років тому

    In Tav's 1st year in an NFL offense he admitted to not quite understanding the playbook and calls, which is why later in the season we saw his progression, it wasnt a new QB thing it was just him Progressing and Growing and the way I see it in his Sophmore season, expect nothing but intellegence and finesse

  • @DRW1107
    @DRW1107 10 років тому +1

    This guy has some special speed and (should be) disrupting defenses enough to give Bradford lots of offensive options - too bad they were both hurt last year.
    We need to keep our Rams in STL. I think we have a good young improving team, even though they play in the badass NFC West. STL fans, we always pack Busch Stadium 91+ home games for the Cardinals - lets do the same in only 8 games for our talented (yet young and underachieving) football team. One last playoff run will make me happy before Mr. Walmart builds the new stadium in LA.

      Joey D Dumb comment.

    • @MrBurgrman
      @MrBurgrman 9 років тому

      +Joey D When he throws the ball, he has to register the trajectory of the flight of the ball and adjust his hands to it. A cheetah may be chasing it's prey already but has to adjust for any quick changes in its path similarly.

  • @RyanKaufman
    @RyanKaufman 10 років тому +10

    "He's overrated" name one receiver who can perform without having the ball. Oh right, that's the point of the game - having the ball. I wish Ravon was drafted to a good team and not the fucking Rams. Or at least I wish the Rams had a not-shit quarterback that would actually stay healthy. Oh well, he's still young, he'll get his chance

    • @Sempi10
      @Sempi10 10 років тому +2

      The Rams have beaten the Seahawks, the Niners and the Broncos this year with 2nd and 3rd string quarterbacks. Those were the top three teams in power rankings. Give them 'a little' credit. It's their OC that's killing them. Way too vanilla.

    • @RyanKaufman
      @RyanKaufman 10 років тому +1

      Sempi10 Good point. But everyone has good games. Kirk Cousins for instance. Tavon is like Cordarelle Patterson at this point. Really talented but very young and not good enough to support themselves with a non-defined QB. Josh Gordon is the same, only he has that quality where he's just so damn good that he doesn't need a defined QB, just throw the ball near him and it's good to go.
      It'll be interesting to see. I might be wrong on Tavon, but I'm hoping I'm not.

    but one thing they dont factor in is they are always expecting the ball to be at a certain point
    they showed a good throw, show a bad throw to factor in his reaction to change
    still a beast though, js

    • @XxpenumbrawolfxX
      @XxpenumbrawolfxX 10 років тому

      No, the reflex to place your hand where the ball is coming. No ball is thrown perfect, every throw is different. His reflexes help him adjust to the ball.

    • @DeuceAlchemist
      @DeuceAlchemist 10 років тому

      XxpenumbrawolfxX But intuitively he expects the ball to be in a certain catch radius which makes the reaction timing easier. Unless you're playing with Tim Tebow or something, the ball will most certainly be in a certain area on each throw and then you have to tweak ya reflexes to make the catch within that area. When a Cheetah is chasing down a prey, it has no clue which direction the prey will go in, its straight up, raw reaction timing.

    • @goldendragon222
      @goldendragon222 10 років тому

      Khaalid Rahman Why tim tebow he could not throw at all if you seen him with the broncos he always overthrows his target or it is like 5 yards to the left of his target or on his right that is why no NFL teams want his ass as QB xD

      Danny Hentosz you're a dumbass. He does outrun everyone. His acceleration, deceleration, cut ability, and overall speed is unmatched. Watch his senior highlights. If he was on a decent team or a team that actually gave him the ball he would have much better production. He plays 30% of the snaps and maybe gets the ball 10% of that 30%. He is used as a decoy. He needs to be on the field much more and needs to be given the ball much more. I'd be happy if the Rams traded him so he would have a better chance to show his true potential

      Danny Hentosz Uh for the reasons I explained earlier. They don't give him the ball. and because he is on the Rams?? They do not have a QB. Even with Bradford they aren't good. If he had a decent QB tossing it to him he could have more production. Second the O-line is pretty trash. Like I said again college isn't the NFL but watch his senior highlights if you need an idea of the potential of this kid. He went 8th overall for a reason.

    I'm sorry, but running a 40 yard dash in 4.34 seconds is not and never will be Olympic material. Also, this "experiment" has absolutely nothing to do with what the title implies. The only thing you'd have as a competition would be sprinting ability and the cheetah would obliterate him every time.
