It actually seems like a bargain for what you're getting. Compare to the simpleRTK2B Budget, this is cheaper and this covers more bands as well as having the BT/WiFi built in instead of add-on extra $.
You can’t buy this chip below a couple of hundred unless you are buying it per real this is a very good price for development rather than getting through 10 board revisions and wasting chips
If you're going down that line of thought - Quectel (the maker of the GPS receiver itself) is from the same "hostile foreign country", so it doesn't seem to really be increasing the attack surface of your supply chain.
This is terrible! This hostile country was spying on my country just a few years back through their NSA agency. Good thing they have at least a few decent patriots like Edward Snowden.
Looks great. I haven't done an exhaustive search for RTK stuff, but what I've seen is in the $600-$700 range. This one looks good to me. :))
simpleRTK2B Series is in similar price range as this but available, while this is still pre-order.
Incredibly overpriced.. as always.
Pretty cheap for GPS RTX
Bro. The LG290P on this board by itself is $125 at Mouser.
@@donaldholden2090 And half that price on Aliexpress.

You ruined it by adding a CPU with networking from a hostile foreign country.
I kinda feel the same.

@@teknoman117 But that gnss chip doesn't have direct or obscure form to comunicate with the "country" in question.
@ Even more reason to avoid. Thanks.
