Carr just got Adams this year. Who'd he have besides Waller the last 3 years? Carr's last 3 seasons look like 4,000 + yards around 70% completions and 20 + touchdowns. Simply put Carr is a better passer he can def make the throws Lamar just isn't able to yet. With that said Lamar just needs to be an average passer, not turn the ball over as much as he has in the 4th quarter this year, and he'll probably win more games than Carr can throwing for more yards with a better completion percentage.

Lamar isn’t a good passer. His feet set up easy throws. I think he’s worth paying…his game as a whole matters. He will never have a good receiver, they won’t put up enough numbers to get paid. Build an elite defense and running game…and Lamar can get you a trophy.

He’s not a great passer. He’s not accurate but he hits a lot of crossing routes and he sets up his pass with his running. But if you asking him to drop back and pick apart a defense with his passing you’re not in a good predicament. It’s the scheme.
