And I can only imagine. I hope her and travis are nothing but happy. And I really hope he is her person or she finds her person soon. I absolutely agree with the publicity angle but I don’t think through Taylor’s decisions and growth seen through her music and life recently that she would turn her love life into a weapon. While we will absolutely never know I don’t think she would pick someone random to boost her publicity and I don’t think that she would ever agree to let someone use her. But we just won’t know! And maybe that’s the fun kinda like the Easter eggs. I think they have absolutely gotten out of control by fans while Taylor has made it a nod to her fans. It’s a smart marketing tool and a smart way to help her fans be involved. I love speculating but I think the line has absolutely been crossed to obsession now. Especially on TikTok

When i would tell someone even a few years ago everyone said you are „mainstream“ and you have no music taste because you like pop music. Yes I like pop songs because they are absolute bangers 😂 especially boys told me when I was a teenager it was soo „cringe“ to listen to Justin Bieber, Miley or Taylor because Hiphop/ rap/RnB was cool at the time.

Dang, this really hit me hard. First off, 100% agree that Evermore is better than folklore because there are barely any skips on that one but the merch topic really got me. I have definitely fallen victim to her capitalist like tendencies and have purchased multiple variants of the same album, have been scouring her site for the chance of a rare drop (signed fearless selling out in my cart haunts me to this day lol) and just spending money on shit I don’t need. That conversation was hard to hear but I needed to hear it because I have fallen into this trap so thank you ❤ trying not to be too hard on myself now but I promise to myself to make better financial decisions in 2024.
