I've been terribly down due to an illness & the current state of the world. Thinking crafting videos might lift my spirits & provide a distraction, I pulled up my "Favorite Creators" playlist. Well, I had forgotten how lovely it is to hear Nina's voice & watch her create! It was similar to reconnecting with a charming friend. An hour & several videos later, & my mood is *much* improved. I'm off to my crafting corner now. A million thanks to all you lovely creative souls who live in my phone! May we all stay safe, healthy, & hopeful. With gratitude, Rebecca in Alabama Apologies if this post is overly personal & mushy. I'm a southern belle...its kind of "our thing." 😉
Thank you so much for your kind words Rebecca. It’s been a very depressing year in so many ways hasn’t it and I’m sorry you’ve been unwell on top of it all. It’s good to hear that you’ve found some enjoyment from the crafting community. I think it’s keeping a lot of us going during these difficult times. Stay safe and Happy Crafting 💕
Oh my! How did I overlook this video until now??? I would never have dreamed that the wall stickers would turn out so beautifully with just a few enhancements. And the printables were absolutely gorgeous! And then it happened... I paused the video at the end before commenting, so I could click the link for the Graphics Fairy. Yes, I went down that rabbit hole! Almost 2 hours later, I am finally returning to leave a comment on this video. 😊 Nina, this was a very lovely project and I thank you for tips, expertise, enjoyment and the link to the GF website! Janet ❤🦋💕
Thank you so much Nina, I really really enjoyed watching you create these gorgeous and stunning butterflies 🦋 and I’ve watched it again, and enjoyed watching it again. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
There is something about watching fussy cutting is very calming. I have no idea why. When I was working a very high stress job, I used to cut out paperdolls, and found that to be very relaxing, also. Really like your videos, they are fun. You have excellent ideas.
Just a suggestion: when I have some paper embellishments that I will want more in the future, I take and copy a few sheets from my printer. That way I don’t need to buy more....👍🤗
I’m so pleased I finally dug them out as I had no idea they were this gorgeous. They don’t look very exciting in the bottles. I’ll be bringing them out again for certain 💕🦋
I had been wanting to add a vintage moth to the birthday card that I am making and you sent me to the right place to find one that will be perfect for the card!!
Your butterflies look stunning and expensive! What a difference your little additions have made to the originals. Will be hunting out the Docraft ones I have stashed somewhere in the room of craftyness :)
I love your butterflies. Lumiere paint has been my absolute favorite paint for over 15 years. I've got some colors in bigger pots, and even after 11 year of not using any of my art supplies they were still good, and you can guess which was one of the first things I bought when I felt doing creative stuff again: more colors of lumiere paint. Thanks for some new ideas to make more butterflies. Hugs from the Netherlands, keep safe and healthy.
Thanks so much Tonia, I can’t believe I had this beautiful paint hidden away for so long! When I first purchased it I thought I was buying the Piñata alcohol inks, which I now also own and are wonderful too. Will definitely be using these more ❤️
Lovely! Butterfly embellishments are one of my favorites; these turned out so pretty, I love them! I need to shop at home and see what I can do with images I already have, though I do love those butterfly pages from the Graphics Fairy! Thanks for sharing another inspiring video, take care!
Oh so pretty. I have watched your earlier videos on butterflies. I love this one. Vintage looks have such a soothing feeling. They really do look so pretty. I have a feeling that I am going to make a lot of these. Thank you for the ideas and inspiration. Wish you good health and all the best.
These beautiful butterflies will be fun embellishments to play with. BTW, boys and bugs go together, don’t they. I have to admit, I probably threw a beetle or two at my sister, when I was a young one. Just returned home after a long haul. Once I recover, you’ll be hearing from me. Thanks, Nina.
Don’t they just! Alex found it hysterically funny seeing me freaking out. I’m shuddering at the thought of it! Glad you arrived home safely and have a wonderful week 💕
Thank for this great idea for embellishments!! We're all savaging around looking for the right one for our projects!! I will use this idea for my albums. And I've subscribed. And I love your accent!! ❤ Cheerio!
These are absolutley gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing with us and giving a wonderful step by step video on how to make them. Have a blessed weekend and stay safe. 😊❤
I've just had a weird experience given what you said about the dead beetle and what you've been making. The video had just finished playing when I saw something at the periphary of my vision. It was a butterfly inside the window! Fortunately alive and fluttering. I was doing something with a 12 x 12 piece of paper so I was able to assist it outside. Anyway fantastic video. TFS.
Absolutely beautiful, Nina. I love them. Butterflies are so useful for all sorts of projects so thank you for a really interesting and informative video as ever!
These are gorgeous! I have only a handful of the butterflies I made from a video you did a while back and thought recently - - I need to make more. I don’t have a printer or I’d be printing out some butterflies from the graphic fairy for sure! TFS. I did. God bless and stay safe safe!!!!🧚♂️
How funny! I have just found some of the same butterflies in my stash (the Anita's ones). I was experimenting with the Tim Holtz collage medium to see if it would knock back some of the shine. It does work. ❤
Hi, Nina! I'm not much of a butterfly girl, but at about 6 minutes into the video you have all those vintage ones in a big pile on a white background. That would be a fabulous shadowbox. Thanks for another fun idea. Have a great week.

Thanks for watching this again Mags and glad you enjoyed it second time around 💕 xxxxx
Every time I see someone cutting paper I'M so happy we have opposable thumbs and manual dexterity :)
Yes, it certainly makes cutting a breeze 💕

so lovely!! Love seeing how you made the antenna. They look like ones you would buy for quite a pretty penny.
Thank you 💕🦋
These butterflies are so pretty and will be a great addition to your stash. I love the Graphics Fairy! I have used her images for 20 years or so.
Thanks Marsha, she has some wonderful images and so many of them are free. It’s a great resource 💕
Wow! What a difference little ink splatters and antennas made...simply beautiful! Thanks Nina! 🥰❤️
Thank you so much Kathryn 🦋🦋💕
Love the Luminier Paints! I use them on canvases. They are beautiful. Your butterflies are gorgeous!

You can never have too many butterflies. I made some using your old video last week. Definitely going to have a go at these too. Thanks for sharing 💕
Thanks Steph. I really love the vintage images from the Graphics Fairy and might reduce the images and make some smaller ones too. Happy Creating 💕🦋

Great ideas. Thank you. If you coffee stain the paper after you print it out, it will make the paper stronger.
They look beautiful Nina, I have loads of fussy cut butterflies I might try this thanks for another wonderful video xxx💕
Thanks Susie. We can never have too many 💕🦋🦋🦋
They look amazing Nina, so realistic xx

Wow! Butterflies are a symbol of change, hope & endurance so that’s wonderful and certainly not as horrifying as an enormous dead beetle 😳💕🦋🦋🦋
I love the gold splatter and gold wire antennas! I could create a bunch of these all at once! Children! Chasing you with a beetle. So silly.
These are perfect for creating in batches to have on hand for future projects. Happy Creating ❤️🦋
Pretty!
Perhaps add the antenna between the layered butterflies....
You can of course add the antennae between layers if you wish to, but I find it buckles and looks untidy.
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
So beautiful, thank you for reigniting my passion to go through my old stash. ♥️♥️♥️
Wow. What a difference. Great ideas. Tyfs
Thank you so much 💕
So pretty! Love the splatters. And the antennae are brilliant. Thanks for sharing!
