Le Zoute was the place where I was born in 1961. The beachfront has not been preserved, but butchered - pretty much like the rest of the country. The saddest is the entire heritage on the Albertplaats that has disappeared with all the memories of our country, to be replaced by an ugly Plopsaland/McDonalds style with zero soul, zero respect for our heritage, and full priority to greed. Where are the Saint-Georges, the Castel, where is the Clos Breton, La Niche, and the list goes on, and on, and on ?
