Hope you all enjoy this Witcher lore that I’m putting out as I love making it. Let me know what else you’d like to see and also do please check out my audio only version on Spotify and other places!
Literally immediately she dont mess about when it comes to ciri. Loved how fringilla helped subtle but definitely for geralt . Suprised yen didn't know which made me believe it was to show nilfgarrd sorceresses were nice too not dogs. Fringilla showed balls. Big nuts emhyr would of took. Awesome books. Hope cd projekt paid in kind they got a sweet deal the wild hunt is the best game ever made and ive played hundreds no shit. I think game of thrones is ripped from the witcher. George martin cant finish his own shit lame as fuck.
You read the books what a champ. The best books i ever read love the witchers wit at aretuza. And when ciri attacks in the lady of the lake. They just hear her skates and then BLOOD
I'm greatly enjoying seeing more of the character and especially the way they've built up this inherently good person who is trapped in the most impossible situation. Hanging onto the thinnest thread of hope for her people. She is a villain you root for, because if she wasn't forced to choose between War and Annihilation, she wouldn't be a villain.
Witcher Lore videos in 2023 keep me going! God I love the game! Keep up the fantastic work! Quick Idea whilst I'm here; How about a lore video about every nation in the Witcher world, even the lesser known ones;)
Incredible! Definitely hadn't thought much about this character in particular but a really rich story here about her. It's hard to find a boring elf story though since they span such immense years, typically. Well played!
4:01 Actually, Raupenneck massacred the populations of two elven cities: First Loc Muinne and then Est Haemlet, a city in the upper reaches of the Pontar. He didn't spared anyone. 6:06 Aelirenn revolte is actually the second war between humans and Aen Seidhe. Though it was more a suicide mission to make a point than a real war. 7:04 Having the Elders with them wouldn't have changed anything. That's the very reason why they didn't wanted to go to war because they knew in advance it was a lost battle. 8:56 Are you sure you didn't misinterpret Ithlinne prophecy? Falka couldn't be the one that destroy the world with the Elder Gene because she didn't have it, it was Riannon line only. And the prophecy spoke about how the Child of Elder Blood can either be the savior or the destroyer. 10:16 I think they just made a mistake. Literally, Francesca was on the team that determined which child was from Falka so her word weigh more i think. Considering Adela died childless and Ciri is the far away descendant of her brother and sister who got each a part of the Elder Gene, it's safe to assume she was the child of Falka. 11:38 Ok i have to point out this there: There was not just 22 (not 14, that's the number that died) mages at Sodden but also a vast army of 100 000 soldiers from all the Northren realms, brought together by Vizimir, king of Redania. Also, Nilfgaard had also its own mages in that battle, Fringilla was among them. 15:10 Could she still be considered archmistress of Aretuza at that time? 21:59 He was prince at that time XD 22:27 Why isn't Margarita there? She has a character in TW3. 24:43 It was not exactly on her terms, in fact, without the good will of many sorceresses, her stay in Montecalvo would have be a similar situation to her imprisonement by Vilgefortz.
@@dahlialendaria6573 Lady of the Lake, Nimue mentions it in a conversation with Condwimarus. Though i'm not sure she said that Francesca left. She mainly says that there is not drawing of her because the elves destroyed them when they left. It's up to speculation if Enid an Gleana was still alive when her peoples left.
@@wojciechwysmolinski4430 that's still a mistake because the mages said that they couldn't determine which child was from Falka to prevent a infanticide so if someone think that Fiona was the child of Falka, that's either speculation or a mistake because only the mages presents, like Francesca, know the truth.
@@efaristi9737your right, cause the real child of Falka was Adela. That was only popular teory, that Fiona was her child. Even members of the Lodge, though that Fiona was Falka's child.
@@dahlialendaria6573 Hmm, that's actually not a bad question. I don't think the books addressed it. Usually advantages of having elven blood is to have beautiful features, even elven physicals traits that humans don't have. But it's never mentioned if that make them better at magic. Since not all elves are magicians and magicians are usually steriles, it's a bit doubtful. Ciri however, did inherited incredible magic from her elven ancestor and the Elder Blood was actually passed down through the generations in the idea to make it stronger each time. But if that can apply to all elves or only to the Elder Blood, i do not know.
Amazing video! Would it be possible to add sources on screen, for where in the books events take place, in future lore videos? I find such things help me keep track of events better.
There is evolution and natural selection in the Witcher universe as mages are aware of the previously mentioned forces. One thing that confuses is that Elves, Humans and Dwarves are so similar yet apparently from different worlds ? And the Elves believe humans to be mere apes? Then how did the elves come to be if they themselves aren’t apes ?
First, there is a few more differences between humans and elves than the shape of their ears. And the fact they can crossbreed is more fantasy than actual science. About elves origins, it's vastly unknown, even to them maybe but elves believe to have been created as they are instead of having evolved from something. Considering their original world was destroyed long ago, it's doubtful we will ever know the truth.
@@kenz2756 The elves and humans in The Witcher originate from different worlds, allegedly. so it's possible for one world to have a magical creator deity, while humans evolved just like how we did, the through various means and/or the conjunction, they end up in the same world together.

Your camera shots and angles are top-notch! There's something so unique about them. Did you capture them yourself? :)
I love that Yennefer betrayed the lodge immediately thanks to Frangilla’s help
I loved reading that in the book. Took me a few minutes to realize exactly what Fringilla meant when she mentioned the oysters lol.

I hated how she was portrayed in the show. But the sequence where she and her warriors entered Tanned was badass

Man I really need to play this series. So much lore.
Read the books, then play the game, ingore the Neflix series 😂

If they're from a different world then it's possible their world had a "creator deity" of sorts and just...made them.
