Love your videos so much and you’ve become my favourite knitting podcasters! Great to watch Aussies talk about local yarn and your dynamic is so fun to watch, makes me wish I had a knitting bestie!
So I'm going back through all of your old videos chronologically (don't judge me!) Have you watched Muster Dogs, your chat about the working dogs just reminded me of this show! Wish I went to Bendigo when I lived in Melbourne, what a missed opportunity! I think I'd want to buy ALL OF THE YARNS and then probably walk away having bought none because there's too much good stuff. Also totally understand the Aussie merino snob vibes, HOWEVER now that I'm in the States, I realise I can easily get access to Woolfolk..maybe I should make an order...
I have just found your podcast a few days ago. So I’m catching up!Love the friendship you share. So much fun ☺️. And your knitting is amazing. Thank you for sharing your craft.
Ladies! Hello from Wellington, New Zealand! I've just found your podcast and love it! I'm stoked to have a podcast to watch who is in the same season as me! Love the fortune jersey! The ochre yarn is 'tonal', or semi solid. It is dyed with various strengths of the same color. I might have a look to see if I can get that wool in NZ. The composition looks amazing!
@@twopurlsinapod I just finished the Brooklyn Raglan in Knitting for Olive merino held with mohair in a stunning orange colour. I'm doing a bit of gift knitting for various birthdays before casting on the Port Sweater by Ozetta using nutiden held with mohair. I love winter time! Great podcast guys, keep it going!!
I’m watching your lovely uploads in chronological order so I’m not sure if you’ve spoken in detail about it yet, but I would love to see a discussion about which Australian merino yarns we should try as Europeans 😍 I need info from the locals lol. Looking forward to watching the rest of your videos!
Your comments about KfO are so true! I had a massive splurge and bought 3 jersey quantities of merino and matching silk mohair, as well as their 100% silk. It showed up and I felt the merino and was quite disappointed. BUT......... I've just knit my first jersey and it does knit up really lovely together.
It’s cos we’re so spoiled down here with all our lux merino. It’s made me such a snob. Looking forward to how my jumper using the two together turns out before I pass too much judgement.
The Sophie scarf may be a basic pattern but it is really perfect for the Melbourne climate (I’m about to start my fourth, so no judgement…). Also, that Fortune Sweater is absolutely gorgeous!

Am so lucky to have someone to get excited about knitting with who’s such good company 🥰🥰🥰
Oooh, you two are making me wish Australien merino was sold in Europe 😢! Such an interesting explanation for the difference in fiber softness.
It's so beautiful, but somehow we keep wanting to try all these European yarns.

We've never done a comprehensive round up but might have to... Thanks for the tip 😁
