Im the same with male singing. But this one gets a pass. I got this 2x12" pack, had it back in the day too. When that breakdown comes in with that beautiful melody, everyone is smiling, or swaying with their eyes closed. I got such good memories from this track, mainly at after rave recovery parties. It set the mood so well. One of Dareys best. The Cas Rock mix was awesome at 45, i used to use it in hard house sets at like 150 - 170bpm. Everyone went nuts to that one. Half my crew were into happy hardcore so i used to luv doing bside tracks that had the option of the 45 button. Good drop bruv.

There are so many mixes of that song since it first came out in the 90s (ie. Dub of doom remix of Push the Feeling On is a classic). Anyway, I love his voice, and first heard him on "Push the feeling on" ... The original for this track is up on UA-cam. I had no idea there was ever a Trance mix of any of his tracks so this is a most pleasant surprise for me.

I have never heard much from Mash Up Matt but after this i must say i should deep dive into his works. Plus 1999 Trance was the peak of Trance so no doubt it’s perfect.
Matt sure was one of the hardest working remixers back in 99/00. I mean how many tracks did he remix? Bazillions! And they were all quality. Often the go to remix in the package!

Me and a buddy actually brought trance to Omaha..military sent us to Omaha. I’m originally from Orlando Florida and my buddy is from Houston Texas. The house djs in Omaha said trance would never work…they were totally incorrect. 😂 I still make mixes and post them to SoundCloud. Yep, I’m an addict.
I don't like male vocals in trance myself either but i would pull the pitch right up so it would sound at best a coloured woman or something 😂 tbh I think this sounds like a female , i wouldn't have been able to tell the difference .

The one thing that sucks about the reuploads, is I lose it from all my playlists :( I was just looking for it swearing I had saved it but it's because it was re-uploaded. Would you ever consider keeping up the old videos?

If it was in your playlist before then a quick add to playlist is all it should take to replace the old one. To answer though, no I wouldn’t ever want to have multiple uploads of the same track on the channel There are a couple of downsides such as losing all the previous comments too, but overall I think it’s well worth it with many enjoying the updated versions 😊

I really like how he made the "never knew love" sound. It can be heard in multiple ways and it all fits. "Never knew love." "The way you love me." "Never knew you loved me." "The way you loved me."
I love this tune for NOT letting it break down completely. The beat keeps going. Not something you would usually hear in trance music as the long break is always so expected. Maybe more tunes need to be like this. The steel drums was a nice touch too. ;-)
