Thanks Rickard, I appreciate all your work and the way you do conversions. You and the late Jack Rickard are my "guides" and have taught me everything I know. Unfortunately in my country (Portugal) it is not possible to legalize converted vehicles but I had the opportunity to take an electric scooter chassis and do everything from scratch, using everything I learned from you and managed. It was a great satisfaction to ride in a vehicle made by me. Thank you and continuation of good conversions and good videos. They are never boring so show the details of all your work. :)

When the south of the country ramped up capacity to cover the draw for air conditioning, the power companies added infrastructure at a faster rate, and at higher percentages of capacity within a shorter time than we will have to for electric cars. They did this because the market demanded it, and they saw the long-term profitability of selling that electricity. So too will it be with this, it's a smaller jump in capacity when taken as a percentage of existing infrastructure. I have no idea why people say anything otherwise. It's like saying "companies just don't wanna make money!" I'm pretty sure the old guys in suits at the top floor of whatever power company office skyscraper are as excited about this as the EV enthusiasts. The only difference is that the investor class will get luxury yachts out of the deal, we'll only get cars. Yeah, there will be short-term hiccups. But society can do this, we've already proven it.

Most EV charging is done at night when there is less demand.
