The ATR 72 is a twin-engine turboprop, short-haul regional airliner developed and produced in France and Italy by aircraft manufacturer ATR, a joint venture formed by French aerospace company Aérospatiale (now part of Airbus) and Italian aviation conglomerate Aeritalia (now Leonardo S.p.A.). The number "72" in its name is derived from the aircraft's typical standard seating capacity of 72 passengers.
The Airbus A320neo family is a development of the A320 family of narrow-body airliners produced by Airbus. The A320neo (new engine option) family is based on the previous A319, A320, and A321 (enhanced variant), which was then renamed A320ceo, for "current engine option".
SKY Express, is a Greek airline headquartered in Heraklion International Airport. The airline was established in early 2005, operations commenced in July 2005, including scheduled, charter, cargo, air taxi, emergency medical services, excursion and sightseeing flights. In October 2020, the airline placed a firm order for four Airbus A320neo aircraft. In addition, the company introduced a new design for their new Airbus aircraft.
easyJet is a British multinational low-cost airline group headquartered at London Luton Airport. It operates domestic and international scheduled services on more than 900 routes in more than 34 countries via its affiliate airlines EasyJet UK, EasyJet Switzerland, and EasyJet Europe. The airline employs circa 13,000 people, based throughout Europe but mainly in the UK.
Since its establishment in 1995, easyJet has expanded through a combination of acquisitions, and base openings fuelled by consumer demand for low-cost air travel. The group, along with associate companies easyJet UK, easyJet Europe and easyJet Switzerland, operates more than 300 aircraft. It has numerous bases across Europe, the largest being London Gatwick.
Mykonos Airport is the international airport of the Greek island of Mykonos, located 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from the town of Mykonos. It serves flights to domestic and European metropolitan destinations due to the island being a popular leisure destination.
