That's why I've never done journaling. Not cause I feel embarrassed but my thoughts are safe in my head, putting them down is risking someone reading them, and I'm a very private person with trust issues 😂
Sometimes I burn or shred them afterward. That feels really good too. You can also dispose of a note by putting it in a plastic grocery bag and pouring milk on it. After a day in the trash, no one will ever try to open it and read your notes! They’ll all be smudged and stick together and it will smell horrible 😂
You could just hide it between your mattresses. At the end of the day, journaling isn’t for everyone but to say your embarrassed is pretty invalidating to yourself. You are valid on how you feel and should feel safe enough to be 100% honest with yourself.

I could care less about what my boss and coworkers think of me. All I want to do is clock out at 5 and go home. I think I am still young, just lost. I've been trying so hard to figure out MY LIFE. My parents have never been successful in their lives. They played it safe, worked worked worked, bought a house in their early 40s and now they're both nearing 50 years old, if everything goes well they have less than 30 years left on this planet. And they didn't get anything out of it. And they expect me to do the same.

honestly, you have to start doing it to learn to love it. doing quick (10-15 min) HIIT workouts sucks at first, but you will get used to it and even crave it soon enough. the hardest part is getting started but you will be so happy you started exercising.
