Anyone else saw them at the Lizard Eclipse festival in Cornwall in ’99? Hitch-hiked (mostly) there from Finland, in itself a journey worthy of a fireplace story for the grandchildren.. Kula Shaker truly crowned that whole experience that night. To see them still tap into the stream of greatness..gives hope to this world we live in today. Kiitos!
I was introduced to this band by my ex-Hare Krishna ex-boyfriend in the early 2000s. I'm glad they're still around!

Surely this song is addictive. But this clip is so special & heartwarming, with all their kids and family present!
A spiritual journey can take different forms. One such form is that of a non-conformist rebel incrementally discovering the purpose of life through the ecstasy of Bhakti Yoga. This perhaps is the essence of Kula Skaker's music whether it is expressed though 'Govinda", "Tattva" or " Infinite Sun" infused with rock n roll. Way ahead of times !

They came to Los Angeles and played the Roxy - a nice intimate show - and DESTROYED! Please don't wait 17 years to come back and visit us again. You guys rocked so hard!

It's absolutely baffling to me that this never became their biggest hit... Everyone I've ever played this for has asked me "Who's that?" or told me "This is awesome". I'm just glad to see we'll be having a new album to groove to this year ("1st Congregational Church of Eternal Love and Free Hugs" to be released in June, 2022).
