Well, it was very nice to get to spend some time with the Sparkle family for a change! I can understand Twilight's predicament here because I too go through the same thing every so often with with some friends of mine. The lesson about not having to feel obligated to do things to satisfy others is a good one, something that I'll always remember.
3:58 Bingo Strategy Book? That must be the shortest book ever written. XD 11:01 And just like the FlimFlam Brothers, He'll probably never learn his lesson. 15:36 Poor Twily goes through a lot of things that she doesn't deserve, i feel bad for her. 16:26 Nooooo? 19:45 You and me both. :'( 21:01 Putting the happiness of other ponies above her own? This show never stops being relatable for me, does it? 22:43 A certain ship has set sail, I would call it: The TwiTracker Ship.
1. Pfft. I'm sure there's tips about using multiple cards or whatnot 2. Probably not... 3. So do I... 4. I was waiting for someone to get that reference, lol 5. She really does need a hug after everything she had to suffer... 6. That kind of relatability is part of what makes this show so powerful. 7. Heh. I dunno if I'd ship them, but I do think Star Tracker's a genuinely sweet fella =)
What's kind of strange is I want to see a G4 Lavan attack the Crystal empire. I bring it up because if Flurry had to be saved from him, that would be close...ish
A great and needed episode a lot of fans have been asking for since we saw Twilight’s parents, her brother, her old babysitter turned sister in law, and her niece. I’d say this was one of the best of the season so far. Truly amazing. Season 7 I feel has done a much better job with Twilight as a character and as the main character like Seasons 1-5 personally. As a fan of the main character, like I said, this episode was needed and was executed perfectly. Now one of my personal favorites with Twilight’s Kingdom, A Canterlot Wedding, and Celestial Advice.
Technically Night Light and Velvet are at fault for not reading the darn papers... I just hope her family realizes that she was willing to give up vacation time for them. I also can't help but wonder if she doubts herself as being the Princess of Friendship. Not my fave episode, but I enjoy hearing your thoughts nonetheless. Fun commentary. /)
(\ I'm sure they'll think better about fine print after this, and it would be nice if they did something to make up for this mess of a cruise. As for Twi and doubt, she did what she could to make everypony else happy. The problem was denying herself that same happiness.
Well, love is putting others needs before your own. Can't say she didn't do that. I guess that setting boundaries also falls under what Fluttershy learned in A Health of Information where we also got to see some of that love.
15:45 um, isn't it extremely dangerous to have a bunch of baby pegasi, who likely will fly around a LOT, on an airship thousands of feet in the air, when they could just fly off of it at any time? This is a massive amount of lawsuits against Iron Will for child endangerment just waiting to happen
20:12 don’t worry I’m already mad at iron will to pull that kind a stunt God he’s such a jerk and he’s a con artist not only that he made twilight having the worst day of her life.
This episode was really fun and sweet. Glad Twilight’s family finally gets some focus. I really hope that you do blind reactions to the last three episodes this season.
I don't want to call this a bad episode, because it's not, but I can't help but feel it would have worked a lot better during season 4. Between the events of Trade Ya and how her position was ruthlessly exploited by Iron Will here, it would have been a lot more fuel for her thoughts that her being a princess didn't mean much back then. Not to mention how hard it was to watch her go through all that after it turned out Will's even worse than before. Hopefully next season we'll get a Twilight/Applejack episode where they deal with him and the Flim Flam Brothers for good.
1. 1:42 "Busy day, your royal studiousness?" I wonder what Twilight was signing. I would think the mayor would be still be dealing with the day-to-day business of running Ponyville, so what does that leave for the Princess of Friendship? Correspondence with foreign dignitaries? Letters to schoolchildren? Autographs? The fan mail that Spike was referring to? 2. 2:28 "Watch where you're pushing, Spike!" I hadn't thought of that before, but that _could_ explain the dumbfounded expression on Twilight's face there. 3. 5:36 Velvet: "When somepony offers you a free vacation..." Upon hearing that line, and having heard Iron Will's voice a few moments ago, I thought this cruise was going to turn into a seminar with a captive audience. 4. 7:17 Shining: "I'm flying! I'm--" TPrower: "King of the _hurl!_ Eheheheheheh!" Were you proud of that line, Miles? Because you totally should be. 5. 8:05 "Born in a tree? That's just insulting!" I don't think Fluttershy would find that insulting. :) 6. 8:36 Iron Will: "...where Princess Cadance rescued her alicorn baby, Spike, from a monster made of fire!" Fake news! 7. 12:13 "I don't know if Zecora would be proud of your rhymes, or *cringe* at them, Will." After seeing the Iron Will vs. Zecora Rap Battle, I think the answer to that is pretty clear. 8. 12:58 "I'd probably be just as nervous." I think I could handle being around Twilight for a day, but if you gave me the same opportunity with Fluttershy I might spew some serious spaghetti. 9. 15:39 "D'awww, Peewee Princess Play Time!" Isn't it cute how little Flurry Heart treats the other, less powerful foals like her own personal playthings? :) 10. 15:48 "Nice hat, Twi." It kind of reminds me of ua-cam.com/video/1FPdTvLadEc/v-deo.html 11. 18:46 I had no idea those were actual signatures! I just assumed that they were random squiggly lines like most other writing that appears on this pony show. 12. 19:42 "I wish I could give you a comfort hug, Twilight." In that moment, I would have been willing to give half of everything I owned to make her feel better. 13. 21:11 Cadance: "Once I had Flurry Heart, the line was easier for me to see." That makes sense. People tend to be much fiercer about protecting the interests of their offspring than they would be in protecting their own. 14. 23:50 Iron Will: "Satisfaction _not_ guaranteed, no refuuuuuuuuuunds!" (jumps overboard) So, um... does anyone here know how to pilot a blimp?
Heheh 1. All sound like likely possibilities to me, and I'm confident she at least knows to read the fine print 2. And he's a strong little fella to be able to push a pony her size, compared to him, along 3. A safe guess, considering his last appearance 4. Heheh. I can't help but feel like I'm not the first to make that joke, tho 5. Well, sure. And we know Twi LIVED in a tree for a while, but it's not the same thing 6. I wanna know who his info source was, lol 7. I haven't seen that one. Maybe I should, lol 8. Heheh 9. Aw, come on, she meant no harm, and Cadence was there to keep things from getting out of hoof 10. Pfft, lol 11. A nice little bonus for looking back on, lol 12. She doesn't deserve the constant disappointment and feeling left out that she has to suffer... 13. Indeed. Cadence knew exactly what Twi was going through, and I applaud her for her understanding. 14. I should think so, since it kept going along just fine after he bailed, lol
can I roast this orn Will dude he is so nasty Twilight is lucky to have those who let her be herself without fights. or complains and all that. look what happened to Mulan one mistake and matchmaker lady was all "you are a disgrace no honor. and have you seen the sequal. those who think Twilight's family were not really thinking of her when she missed the stars should see how I acted when I found out Mulan's marage mean i'd lose my guardianship.i only though of myself. I should have been like Spike, this dragon feels so ashamed of himselfi was so selfish I hope my fas forgave me
Twilight's parents aren't setting a very good example for their kids. you should always read fine prints. what if they accidently signed for slavery or worst some get tricked to doing erm inappopacet thing cause of that
I am proud for her sshe always reads everything I'll bet she'd even use a magfing glas at all marks to make sure no hidden catches are in there same with Spike being as caring as he is he is super sweet. he gets annoyed when Twilight makes him write every minite but he is willing to do paperwork so she can relax and also now I see where she gets her overexcitement and neatnesss from
Hey, have you heard news about the rest of "FiM: Season 7" being leaked online, including the two-part Season 7 finale? Also, have you seen the 2017 MLP Movie yet?
I have heard the news, but I'm sticking to the typical release schedule. I've already set up whatever precautions I can to avoid spoilers. And yes, I have seen the movie. A friend bought me a ticket, so I was able to see it. LOVED it! =) I think I'll put up a video of my thoughts on it after the season's done.
TPrower can I just say 1 teeny tiny bit of a spoiler I found out myself, since it's not going to actually ruin any of the finale for you. 1 single scene confirms that the EQG movies are canon to the show. Literally all I'm going to say. Make of it what you will
While it was great to see Twilight and her family hang out together, the fact her parents didn’t read the fine print when they signed up for the cruise was strange. They could have been screwed out of their bits via a Flim Flam Brothers scam. What kind of an example is that setting for Flurry Heart?
Greetings TPrower. I am currently working on a new drawing , a fan art picture of sorts. It is going to be a collage of my favorite personalities on UA-cam that I watch and sub to. I already have three added and have asked them what I am about to ask you. So far I have gotten no response either way from them. So here is my question. The collage is going to be the O.C. of everyone included. As I said I have three all ready drawn and wish to add you and would like your permission to post it when competed with your O.C. in it.
where can I see a full body reference picture of your O.C. I have one I got from an earlier vid of you rearing up but looking for other references as well
TPrower greetings I added the drawing vector layer I did of your O.C. to my fan project. Tho I may not have taken some liberties with your tail a bit as I had to wing it so to speak for the pose I have you in I also have the vector by itself if wish to see it tho I would have to email or something as the entire drawing is no complete yet and not ready for it to 've public at this moment lol I can send you a screenshot sneak peek of the project or just your O.C. vector I made for the drawing
Seeing Twilight suffer through all of that, especially missing out on the Northern Stars, makes it difficult to re-watch, but I still consider it a good episode.
Unlike with some previous seasons that had obvious duds like Princess Spike (season 5), Somepony to Watch Over Me (s4) and Applejack's Day Off (s6), it's difficult to single out any "least favorite" episodes this time around. (By "dud" I of course mean by MLP's lofty standards)
The first 3 seasons also had a dud each: Griffon the Brush Off for season 1 Dragon Quest for season 2 One Bad Apple for season 3. But I agree that even the weaker episodes of this season are better than the weaker ones of the others.

So, perhaps she could've avoided all of it, but she was only thinking of her loved ones' happiness, and no one should criticize her for being so compassionate and self-sacrificing.
Well, I should feel sorry for her and commend her and all that, but then I think back to the end of EG1 where Little Miss Purple Princess verbally chastised Sunset Shimmer, who was already broken, beaten, defeated and crying in the middle of a crater and any compassion or sympathy I should have for her is gone.
That isn't all that happened, though. Twilight was saying it like it was for Sunset up to that point. She'd been a bitter, power-hungry bully, and she was simply stating that that was the end result of how she'd lived her life up until then. And it was *after* she said that that Sunset showed that she was in tears, deeply regretting what she'd done and apologizing for it. She admitted she'd been in the wrong. And after *that* , Twi told her it wasn't too late to turn her life around, and that the rest of the human friends she'd made would be willing to help her. So, no, Twilight wasn't being overly harsh or cruel, given the circumstances.
Maybe not to you, but to me it was. Twilight shoved it in Sunset's face. All she had to do was just help her out of the crater and leave it at that, but no, she didn't do that. So again, I don't feel any remorse for her plight in this episode or anything bad that happens to her in the future.
You're saying there should have been no acknowledgement of what had just happened, and especially after everything Sunset did to Twilight in the movie? And it wasn't so much rubbing it in her face. It was more of a warning that if she didn't turn her life around, that was what the future would hold for her, or worse.

Scenes like the one at the beginning proves why Spike is one of the best characters in the entire show. He's such a precious boy and I love him ^w^
3:58 Bingo Strategy Book? That must be the shortest book ever written. XD

What's Iron Will been smoking? XD
I wanna know where he got his facts, lol
What's kind of strange is I want to see a G4 Lavan attack the Crystal empire. I bring it up because if Flurry had to be saved from him, that would be close...ish
He took a history lesson from the Flim Flam brothers

22:10 I love how even Flurryheart has a look that says "Pony say what?"
She's a perceptive little munchkin. =P
I always cry when Twilight cries. 😭
I feel ashamed that we'd all act this way on a cruise with Twilight's family.
Which is why this episode is a good lesson on how to respect a celebrity and their loved ones in a public setting

I’m kind a like star tracker I’ll be pretty excited and nervous at the same time to hang out with my idol but not too creepy lol
That's a very good point. I can't believe I didn't consider that myself.
20:12 don’t worry I’m already mad at iron will to pull that kind a stunt God he’s such a jerk and he’s a con artist not only that he made twilight having the worst day of her life.
I think Shining should stick to indoor activities poor guy
No kidding
This episode was really fun and sweet. Glad Twilight’s family finally gets some focus. I really hope that you do blind reactions to the last three episodes this season.
I'm definitely doing the finale blind. Still undecided on 23 and 24.
I don't want to call this a bad episode, because it's not, but I can't help but feel it would have worked a lot better during season 4. I suppose it's the same way people feel about Honest Apple, how it would've worked better in Season 1.
After watching Twilight vent, it's time for the comment!
1. 1:42 "Busy day, your royal studiousness?"
I wonder what Twilight was signing. I would think the mayor would be still be dealing with the day-to-day business of running Ponyville, so what does that leave for the Princess of Friendship? Greetings TPrower.

This is among my least favorite of the season, but it's still good.
The first 3 seasons also had a dud each:
Griffon the Brush Off for season 1
Dragon Quest for season 2
One Bad Apple for season 3.
But I agree that even the weaker episodes of this season are better than the weaker ones of the others.
I agree that there were some rare duds from all of the previous seasons. I just felt that those three examples were more than enough to make my point.
Fair enough
I don't have ANY sympathy for Twilight. She brought this on herself by volunteering for it.
Forgive me, but that's a rather cold thing to say. She did volunteer for it, to allow her family to do what they wanted. It was a good show of self-sacrifice, but she had no idea how far it would go or what it would do to interfere with actually spending time with her family, especially when it cost her being able to do the one thing she really wanted to do. While everyone's happiness was her main priority, she'd also wanted to spend those activities with her family, and not being able to take part hurt her, even though she tried to put on a brave face about it.
