Excellant presentation. I've watched several of these videos today and wonder why no one is using a candy thermometer? Basically what you are doing is bringing to a Hard Crack Stage can't remember but I think it's 220 F on the thermometer. It shows on the back of the candy thermometer what Hard Crack stage is. Very good recipe though from what I can tell.. I am looking for one for cold and cough remedy but also as you mentioned great for nausea which a young friend is pregnant and definitely could use these. I've bought the chews at a international market and being American we aren't used to to this taste but I think in the "Hard Tack Candy" form she would use these. I noticed you also used the peel which probably has its own set of nutritional values. Thanks for sharing. Anna In Ohio

You can also use corn starch powder mix with water first
Yes that's right
Please can you give the name of the liquid you pouring
Cornstarch
Do you let it store in the ice box
just an airtight box in a cool place
Can I use raw honey instead of corn syrup?
Yes but you probably have to use a lot
Plus the sweets might not get has hard as if you use corn syrup help to tight binding but you can try it by increasing the cooking time 😉
