Interesting observations about Rayllum! Their reunion is not what I expected, but yeah, Callum is probably dealing with a lot of conflicting emotions after he missed Rayla for two years without even knowing if she was still alive, so he needs time ... And now they suddenly have the bad guys to deal with, which can get in the way of a proper talk as well.

I'm just hoping it doesn't last for the entirety of this season. Callum's sarcasm/passive aggressive comments in ep5 makes me want to pinch hm.
It's called mystery of Aaravos, as what is he? Stars are spirits that guide humans, with some stars are considered noble and giving humans knowledge. And others that we call luciferian, a fallen star that misleads people for personal gains. In the eyes of humans, elves & dragons, Aaravos is both, for humans he is a promethius-like person who gave humanity Dark magic. For elves & dragons, he is a demon-like entity that causes death & chaos, it should also be noted that he was the mastermind behind every crisis in history
I've seen and read a lot of different opinions about rayllum and the choices made, but the one that stood up to me is this.
Everything about them perfectly makes sense because it's not about personalities but rather a clash of cultures. Let's start with Rayla. She is a moonshadow elf and in her culture, the greatest act of love is to make sacrifices so that their loved ones don't have to. If you remember that was the main point of conflict in "Bloodmoon Huntress". Rayla couldn't understand why her parents abandoned her for their dragonguard duty, why Ethari was ok with Runaan always leaving him and putting himself in danger and calling it an act of love. But later, she accepts and embraces her culture and you can see it in her "Dear Callum" letter: "Runaan and Ethari told me something that helped me understand… well, a lot of things, really. They said that, sometimes, we make sacrifices so that the ones we love don’t have to. It’s part of protecting them-part of protecting you. Taking on hard choices and going to dark places is an act of love. It’s a gift."
Now let's talk about Callum. He was raised with the idea of making each other stronger together. Sharing a burden, supporting one another and just being for each other is where the real strength and love lies. Like when Sarai went for a mission after a Titan's heart, even though she disagreed, she still stood by Harrow's side.
So, while Rayla thought she was displaying her undeniable love for Callum, he felt betrayed. And now, as she came back, Rayla expected a warm welcome kiss, like when Ethari welcomed Runaan, she only received coldness and anger. And now they both don't understand each other. Rayla doesn't understand why Callum is mad and Callum doesn't understand why Rayla is acting like nothing happened. They have a literal cultural barrier between them! So now they need time and effort to re-establish their relationship.
Creators and writers told us just to be patient with rayllum and now as we finally get season 6, I can say that they didn't disappoint! Season 6 made all those moments in seasons 4 and 5 so much better. Creating such a complicated yet so beautiful relationship requires some real talent! That's why I LOVE the Dragon Prince and rayllum is my absolute favourite ship❤
This just makes me more excited for season 6. >.

OK, I read the whole thing. UGH IT'S SO SWEET AND HEARTBREAKING!! I'll be honest, if my partner left a letter like that I'd feel upset at first, but then I'd forgive them. She worded it so well and the LOVE that's pouring from it. If my partner ever has to leave on a journey like Rayla, I hope the letter he leaves is like hers.

Just sad that they have to outsource stuff like that to bonus content (that non-English speakers often don't have access to), I want to give them a billion bucks so that they can make the perfect show.

Ezran said in the speech he was 9. That makes him 11 now.
@@TheMrPeteChannel that's a error, when Ezran claims that his father was killed when he was 9 years old, as he was officially stated to be 10 years old at the time of the events of "Book One: Moon". As Harrow died in "Moonrise", which played shortly before Callum's birthday dated in July, Ezran was already canonically 10 years old at the time of his father's death.
