Both fascinating and deep games. I find your surveys of master games (historical or otherwise) most instructive. The second game in this video was particularly inspiring. More of those please!
BTW, I don't think 54 is old by any stretch. I am 69 and a reasonably strong club player: I also play a weekly match with an 83 year old, very strong club player, and we have reasonably respectable games... It would be great to have more games by 'old' players reviewed on your channel, especially by Smyslov and Korchnoi, neither of whom ever seemed to 'retire'!

Great video Levy I appreciate the smart explanation recap rather than exaggerated gestures and dumbing yourself down to reach the audience. This felt like a video you made two years ago which I think were so much better. I wasn't a sub then but I've watched them. I'm just saying you've made a lil money screw the doing what the stats say works all the time. Thanks

When you realise sir Vishy Anand didn't even take half of his time in the first game whereas Hikaru has only 5mins left on his clock💀

To make the first game all the more impressive, Anand had over an hour time advantage by the final result… against Hikaru, Yknow, the speed chess guy.
Incredibly impressive, especially for an old timer

Levy idk if you’ll see this but, thank you for the Scandinavian Defence course, I’ve just used the free part but that has helped me a lot, I’ve climbed from 800 to 880 in blitz and 1100 to 1190 just playing the the scandi and the London, people at this level don’t really know what to do against the Scandi so it gives me quite a good position after the opening.
Cannot get the whole course😢 but the free sample is good enough for my level to progress, again Thanks!!

11:03 - What happened here? White moves, going from 11:11 to 6:43, and black moves going from 26:07 to 1:13:25.
Why did black get a time bonus while white didn't?
