I found this years ago, and was just reminded of it because of a Zelda remix. Chiptunes was my thing back then, and I think its like talking to an ex you actually like, and wishing you never lost contact. :D
@JoeTheBored It's collectively called "Chiptune," though that's really an instrument classification rather than a genre classification (music made with sound chips of vintage hardware). Chiptune can actually be composed in a wide array of genres, same as music made with any other instrument. Happy music, sad music, scary music...anything is possible with a chiptune, just as with a guitar, or piano, or anything else. :-)
