The Big One opened in 1994 and held the record as the UK's tallest roller coaster until May 2024.

I have been on the Pepsi Max many times and it is still outstanding when you stand in line and look up at the height of the damn thing, and when going up the hill you wonder if you are ever going to get to the top. The views, going up are amazing.
You know the bird's eye view really does enhance this video, the reality of riding along

Does anyone know the waist limitations to fit on the the big one? I e heard you can be up to 54/56 inches for the seatbelt to fit….
Also, will pleasure beach update thr Pepsi can design? Not been PMBO for a while but seem to keep the cam design up to date!

Went on the back on Saturday god was it rough also side note it hit a seagull saw it whilst I was in the queue for grand national

Was on it yesterday near the back and yes it was rough so rough it’s my last ever ride on it, still like it but, as others have said it’s showing its age and needs some serious TLC, the park is overpriced now as well, and I saw a little girl in tears because they wasn’t allowed to take a pic with a character ( gromit ) they said you have to pay and the mum wasn’t having any of it. For what it cost to get in the park think it’s a piss take to not let people take pics on their own phones of characters, can you imagine Disney starting that crap lol
The park deserves to go bust with the money grabbing attitude they have currently.

I remember when this was all shiny and new, I was 9 years old and it looked so massive and impressive, especially before they modified the first drop. I would be sad to see it go, and I get it is very iconic, but it is 80s technology and after the first drop it can be a bit underwhelming. I think if the park could finance it they could definitely alter it or replace it and make the space really special.
I often wonder if it could be remodelled in places to add different elements.

Fantastic as always Scott but as I’ve said before, this coaster is horrific compared to how it used to be. Needs a complete overhaul.

@@CoasterTom24 Because after the initial climb and drop there isn't anything special about the ride.
Whilst the off ride footage may be from this year the on ride POV has got to be at least 2 years old. Definitely 2024.

@@Puppet_legends Getting into the mindset that X ride is sacrosanct is generally a toxic mindset to have when it comes to an amusement park. BPB has been hit with serious issues because of this in recent times.
This theme park is dying
That's the problem. They think they have got a theme park. They don't. They own a seaside resort funfair.
The united kingdom is dying unfortunately. It's not a PBB only issue. They're just a symptom of bigger issues. If you have £50 disposable and you want to go to a Theme Park, where are you gonna go? Be honest. A lot of people can only justify doing one a year atm. Where you gonna go? Towers? Thorpe? Or Pleasure Beach? I don't think many people are choosing Pleasure Beach, obviously.
I know a school that brings close to 800 people to the theme park every year so there’s that
