      @@JennyBakes thank you for your recepi I once ate Lavander macarons in a good bakary and they where my fav.
      Do you have this recepi in gram?
      And you didn't use lavender extract just the actual lavender and you used just 1/4 powder sugar and 3/4 almond powder.
      I thought it should be the same or little less amount. But mine, (vanille macarons not lavender) did taste just a little too sweet.

      Halil Acikgoz hi sorry. Don’t have the recipe in grams. Also yes no extract but I grind up the lavender. And yes 3/4 to 1/4 is the perfect ratio.

      @@JennyBakes thank you for your answer.
      I could use Google for looking it up. It says like 1 tablespoon is 15 grams so the grinded lavender will it taste enough like lavender?
      Because what I liked the most was lavender flavor.
      I just bought some dried Lavender next to the herbs in a store. I was happy about that since I don't need to pay shippingcosts.

      Halil Acikgoz yes as long as the conversions are right it should be good! If you do have tablespoons and cups I would recommend using that since I haven’t done the recipe in grams.

    Hi with the buttercream, after making it do we leave it to rest or put it in the fridge so it stiffens up? Also... after piping the buttercream onto the macarons how long can they be stored?

    • @JennyBakes
      @JennyBakes  6 років тому +2

      Shenele R hi, it depends on the weather of the place. If the buttercream is not stiff enough, you can pop it in the fridge for a bit. You can store them in the fridge for up to 3 days and it should be fresh.

      @@JennyBakes thanks. Aaaaand 1 more thing. Do you put them in an air tight container in the fridge or freezer after they've been filled? Sorry I'm just learning how to make them

    • @JennyBakes
      @JennyBakes  6 років тому +1

    I really wanna try this, but I don’t have a lavender farm in my area, so do you know if you can buy it at a grocery store? Btw thanks so much for this video!

      Tiffany G hi, glad you liked the video! You usually can find food grade lavender at places like Whole Foods, sprouts, or any organic food store near you!

      I've seen that its sold on the Wish app. I'm actually looking into buying lavender from there myself.

    does the lavender need to be dried? or can it be fresh cut from the plant? also, can i still do this without a food processor? i have all the ingredients i’m gonna give it a go even though i’ve never tried to make macarons before. this video is great

    • @JennyBakes
      @JennyBakes  4 роки тому +1

      Hi! The lavender that I use is dried. And I use the food processor so that the lavender becomes a powder and not chunks. You can also use a coffee or spice grinder.

    Hi can you use the honey buttercream on cakes yes or no? Please answer

    • @JennyBakes
      @JennyBakes  4 роки тому +1

      Hey! Yes you can! Just have to multiply the recipe. Also might want to lessen the honey and increase buttercream depending on how you like the texture!

    So you mean to tell me on a lavender farm there was a bunch of lavender plants?.. huh who knew 🙄

    • @JennyBakes
      @JennyBakes  7 років тому +9

      I thought it was pretty cool to see how much lavender there actually was. You can't tell how much unless you are actually there in person. If you are annoyed don't watch my videos.

      That's just an unnecessary and rude comment. Yes, she could have just showed her making the macarons.. but lavender stores/farms arent very common, so she decided to add a little extra footage of her going there. My god- the world is so full of negativity already.. why must you contribute more? 🤔🙄
