yeah Elcats are a little pricey but at the same time are cheaper then other boats. see big expenses in boats is docking fees and storage. Even small boats will run you 1000's in docking fees, and more in storage. Many people will store them outside in their yards but that just adds to repair costs.
these things though. deflate, break down, and store in your apartment closet. the fact that you don't have to pay docking fees while not using the boat... being able to go down to the water inflate it, set it up... then go for a cruise without needing to use port facilities... just saves so much every trip.
How does it do in not so calm water? Every video ive seen shows ideal conditions. What about waves/wake from wake boats etc?
What do you think, dude ? This ain't no barge with state of the art gravitational centering system. This is for calm rivers and lakes. It's not an ocean explorer. For those you might need to get some Russian engineering.

We set up sleeping pads on the floor of the boat which were surprisingly comfy! Feels safer sleeping on the boat but camping on the shore is always an option too.

@@suzansh4582 yes, around 0:55 you can see one of the sleeping mats with a blanket overtop, the second one is on the other side of the middle console in the same orientation!

Can you black out or tint the tarp?
you guys have an amazing product but your pricing strategy is going to kill you in the long run although you are one of the first to market and you will rake in some profits charging 10,000 dollars for an inflatable solar boat will very soon you will get undercut by 60-80% by the Chinese so if i were you i would get a budget version of this out ASAP before your not left behind in the affordable solar boat market and can dominate the market space with branding

Serious question, how do those craft handle the wind? Because I've seen some bouncy castles take off and fly where I live.
We understand that wind stability is an important concern. The Camp365 is designed with durable materials and structural reinforcements to handle various weather conditions, including wind. We continuously test our products to ensure they can withstand the elements and provide a stable experience.
How Can 100W solar panel be enough to power A/C, ice maker, cooler, charging phones etc. ?
The most effective way is for the solar panels to charge up the powerbank, which can then power the rest of your devices! Typically the only way we used the panel directly on this trip was to charge the motor battery for extended run time.
The biggest thing I've noticed is that GoSun NEVER responds to comments or questions on any of their social media. Very off-putting to me.
