Charlie didn't go to heaven because the good things he did where not ethical/with love, only for the purpose to go to heaven. He wasn't even sad in this part: 0:40
He tried to convince the angel with "I go to church on sunday" but he only went to the church just to go to heaven not because he actually liked to go to church. The song is (I think) a critic to church because there is many people like Charlie. :0
Isnt going to heaven (at least in this song) achieved by believing on Jesus?
@@willgloryo216 If we take the line about going to church as truth, then merely believing didn't get him in. And while he did do good deeds, he didn’t necessarily do them out of the kindness of his heart, but for the motive of going to heaven. He was rather quick to leave everyone heartbroken at his death in exchange for eternal paradise, and one might take that as selfish. Ultimately I think the point is to be introspective on the motives for being good, such as doing it for a reward, to avoid punishment, or to do good out of genuine kindness.

I heard that song the other day and immediately thought “this is Charlie’s inferno” did that song sample this one or is there a third song they both sampled??? So I came here to see if anyone else noticed it or knew lol.
Yeah its so similar to this but they have its own lyrics so idk if its okay or not, and people sample and take inspiration from eachother all the time and theyre mostly okay with it

Thats odd, i have a strong feeling this song is somehow linked with terrible things (the fnaf song) they have the same melodies, but also the backup lyrics at the end are the same as the chorus from teribble things, maybe its inspired by this..? Who knows
