This is one of my favourite videos you've done (and that says a lot, your standard is high) - the fire crackling, the paper rustling, the beautiful maps, the tracing, the lore, your calming voice. I'll come back to this video again and again.

Thank you again for this video and also for bringing me memories about map's when i was a little boy i really appreciate it and also really appreciate watching enjoying and supporting your channel 😊
Judging by this title I feel like this is going to be my favourite video ever, ticks all the boxes with the "explaining lore" and tracing. Thank you in advance :P
Mmh, an ominous dark magic pit and a suspiciously old water priestess? Intriguing. 😏 I love the maps, they are helping so much with immersion and are just beautiful. 😍
@@WhisperwindASMR Ooh awesome, I'll try that one out. 😍 There's a whole fictional planetary system in my head, (I want to write a book series) which is still pretty vague, so it could definitely use some maps. 😁
Amazing!! ✨✨✨ I LOVE fantasy maps ❤️ And creating them often helps me visualize a world and therefore the story better too! They go hand in hand for me 😊
It'd be cool to get a spinoff with maps from open world games, like Breath of the Wild, or Skyrim, or Elden Ring. Or other maps from books or other fictions.
I love tracing Sage. It’s one of my favorite triggers. That and all of the explaining of the maps. I love to hear about new places. Bayweth was fascinating. It was always my favorite part of DND campaigns. I really enjoyed this Sage.
Yay love map's plus when i was a little boy i used to be obsessed with map's on a computer map books and you know but good plus like they say you don't your way around without a map 😊
Sweet i guess we'll got something in common about maps and thank you again for this i really appreciate watching enjoying and supporting your channel 😊
I like so much your videos ! I m ffom Brazil and like too much asmr videos to relax and get some sleep becaise i have insomnia !! My favorite video is you like alpha werewolf ! Your voice was so genuine to me !! ❤❤❤ Anyway, make more awesome videos like this !! A hug ❤
Thank you! It’s a city I made up, and we’ll be traveling there soon in the main story! We’re in a series called “into the wilds” right now (a playlist on my channel and it’s in the description), and we’ve almost made it to Beyweth 🧡
@@WhisperwindASMR I've used it a few times, takes some getting use to. I recently found a program that will generate a whole continent randomly and you can tinker with everything right down to how much rainfall a given area receives in a year.
1:15 I recall reading an alternative theory about the Dungeons & Dragons language known as "Common." The theory suggested that it's unrealistic to expect such a diverse range of races, each with significant cultural and psychological differences and various animosities, to learn and develop a universal language like Common. Furthermore, it's unlikely they would reach a consensus to do so. The theory dismisses the idea that Common is merely some sort of super trade language, calling this assumption shallow and flawed. Instead, the author proposes that Common is a divine gift from the fantasy god of languages, granted in exchange for choosing to become one of that god's worshippers. Of course, if we judge by Abrahamic religion, then the polytheistic stuff in Dungeons & Dragons is blasphemy. As a result, even though a big part of me wishes I could like Dungeons & Dragons, unfortunately I feel that I’m not allowed to like it and I cannot. I would rather go to that universe and proselytize about Abrahamic religion. I even read a story to the effect the orcs acquired moderate Islam in what we would call the year 1993 (!) -- and that then, there were many instances when violence between orcs and humans was successfully avoided or reduced. I wonder which messenger or messengers explained Islam to the orcs. According to which doctrine?
Oh my goodness 😅 You’re allowed to enjoy fantasy worlds while remembering that they’re just that- FANTASY. It doesn’t mean you’re worshipping idols or believing in polytheism to just play a game 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 This is not a place to “proselytize” please.

As a map maker, I assume you have to deal with Swiper attempting to swipe your maps all the time.
“Swiper NO- aww 😔”
Do you use a specific software to creates these maps? Im currently writing a novel and id love to create some maps for it
