Our central air went out one time so we called a company and had someone look at it. He said we needed a new one. So I called my ex brother in law who fixes air conditioners in a big luxury hotel here in Virginia. He came and checked it out and the first guy had flipped some switch off and all it needed was to be flipped back on. All of this to say, get a second opinion!

Please call your homeowners insurance and have them assist you with the home repairs. 2024 has got to be better for a lot of us. Although Mother Nature seems really mad right now, we got a foot of snow Tuesday and now are under a blizzard warning for another 10 inches with 45 mph winds. Calm down Mother Nature!

We just had to pay over 8.000 for broken sewer pipe, and it backed up in our basement. It was a week to get it fixed. Then they took out our internet while they fixed it. So a day without it.
Now our yard is a muddy mess with the snow and rain we got.

Hi friend, sorry about the tree branch. My house started on fire in the living room a year and a half ago. It was an electrical issue. I was asleep and I am so thankful that the smoke alarm. That is why I was so concerned when you were having electrical problems. Our insurance paid for the whole inside to be took down to the studs and rebuilt.
My house is really beautiful now. I hope you have good insurance. They rented us a condo for 6 months and we got all new furniture and stuff. Hugs💕💕💕🐈⬛🐈💕💕💕

I have to wear those glasses chains because I constantly misplace my reading glasses. I just use something plain like a thin chain or tiny beads.
However, I find the problem is keeping the glasses from slipping off of the chain’s little rubber holders.

We care about you E and are glad you can share with us. I always told my kids life isn’t fair but there’s good and bad so hold onto the good and try to handle the bad as best you can. It’s ok to cry, throw a fit, hit a pillow, yell whatever it takes to help get it out. Your brothers should be handling that tree situation!

We were out of power for about 24 hours.
I have MS so I was colder than usual. My poor husband did all he could to keep me warm.
We had a small generator but it could not run that long !
I had on so many things.

Ok, life cannot go on like this. You deserve a break! If the heat guy doesn't show up today, I would go over moms head and call someone. I took care of my mom for several years, Parkinson's, and I had to more than once! Was she happy about it, NO, because it costs more, did she enjoy the new water heater, YES! Did she ever tell me I did the right thing, of course not! Who paid for it, I did, and that is what I kept telling her, well I paid for it, it was not like you had to pay extra...We had snow yesterday, so rare, we are surrounded by mountains, and they get it but usually we are to low, so that was way cool. Cold today, snow moving in again tonight, probably just the mountains tho. Love the peeps!! Well, at least the heater man showed up, to tell you it is shot..so...that sucks. Honestly, how could he know so quick? Seemed he was only there 5 minutes. I really think you need to have someone else look at it...and where are your brothers? The tree, the heater, where are you brothers? I had dry rot in a bedroom floor, my little brother told me close it off until I can get time off. So I did, he not only fixed the part with the dry rot, but the whole floor! When my heater went out, gas...he came down, and went with me to look for a new one, and even had then come and install it, I am sorry, Mine is a free standing heater.
My 21-yr-old daughter has a pearl glasses chain just like that and she loves it. I'm not kidding. Enjoyed your video as always.

Been there, done that! Just replaced my sons entire roof with metal and it cost me $7000!! Amish crew is the way to go! It was half the cost and it was done in 2 days! Guick, quality and cheaper work! Its the best way to go!

I echo the other subscribers. Call your home owners insurance co and can help link you to co to fix roof damage. They will send adjustor to assess damage. They can recommend repair person. This should be a high priority.

I know exactly what you are going through. Last spring half a tree fell on our house and we only got our roof fixed yesterday! Still we have no ceiling in that room which is 30ft long. That partial roof was 1,800$ the ceiling will be about the same. I live in the south and more bad weather is coming today. Prayers for you and your mom.

Those expensive nails are so worth it. The cheap ones are so soft where these are solid and reusable.
