Blown away by this performance
I have to admit I've not been one of her major fans. I like her voice, but I always felt emotion wasn't really there. But this time she was more emotional and it was really beautiful and powerful too
Lydia just killed it so much. I'm so proud of her! Her version is insanely beautiful, those runs were on point and her style is very clear to me. hands down babe, I'm in love with her and the way she performs every single time.

Damn, this REALLY moved me. I have followed this girl since she audition for The X Factor. I honestly think her range is amazing and previously haven't really connected with Lydia's performances. This was amazing, she really took the song, put her own spin on it and really nailed it. I genuinely thought adding in her own verses was brilliant. Losing a family member is horrendous however she really put so much emotion in this. I never really connect with artists on singing competitions but this really hit me and made me so emotional. She was absolutely fantastic, seriously hope she's a superstar - she deserves it!

I didn't think she was really great before, but after that trickery it make me really dislike her. It's tricks like that that cheapen this competition and make it more like the X Factor. Little wonder the ITV have bought the programme!

I've been there too so you're not alone…but it's typical that a lot of these artists pluck at the heart strings to get people to side with them. It happens on the X Factor and now this Cher-a-like is doing exactly the same thing. She didn't have to tell her sob-sob story and yet there she was with all her crappy falseness. She's as transparent as the glass in my windows, and maybe you bought it. I certainly didn't!

She can sing. She is a phenomenal singer. She can hit the high notes, has good falsetto and has good control over her voice. The only problem I see in her performance is that she lacks emotion and the connection with the audience. If you've gotten goosebumps, it's probably how amazing her voice is. Not the emotion.

Johannes Glaesmer, she's not out of tune. What she did is called owning the song. She took the song and created her own tune. That's what makes a great singer. Take Jessie J for example.
I completely agree with you. Not sure if it's an age thing or an experience thing, she's still very young. I've met her a few times and she's really lovely but I can't connect with her.
I have to say I greatly underestimated Her, but she changed my mind after this song
