Sketchy classic truck rescue takes a hilarious turn! You can't watch without laughing!

- What we thought would be a fairly simple classic truck rescue turned out to be a day full of laughter when we met Dwayne. Dwayne bought this truck over 40 years ago and used it to move to his new house because a U-Haul was too expensive. After being used around the ranch occasionally, Tanner is taking it home to give it a new life as a toy hauler. But the real treasure of the day was Dwayne, 80 years old and ornery as can be, he didn't cut us any slack all day and I wouldn't want it any other way!

He's definitely a character, wish I had a neighbor like him.
Mr. Dwayne is the life of the party! He definitely is the first act @ The comedy shack! Thank you Casey for the great introduction to Dwayne's world. He needs a channel a camp fire and a few friends to stop over!
I'd watch that, for sure.
I love my uncle ! 👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸 makes everyone laugh friend or foe!😂🤣
I had a really hard time not making this video 2 hours long because everything he said was hilarious!
@@CaseyLaDelle Dewayne is a treasure,,, if his birthday is June 3rd,,, I need to make a trip over to meet/share stories and be just plain blessed to meet him🎯😎☕
@@CaseyLaDelle I would like to see a longer video of this day. I was grinning the whole time.
So how did the story go on? Is there any more video of it? 😊
Dwayne AND Blake? Both hilarious guys that I've known for years but I never knew they knew each other! Dwayne is never at a loss for words and can make anybody smile. He may come across and ornery but he has a heart of gold.
That's why I always make time to talk if I meet an older person, the stories you'll hear are usually well worth the time spent!
Dwayne is a treasure. I'm sure it was amazing to hang out with this man.
The variety of different scenarios and events you bring to your channel makes it all the more entertaining. The vast cast of characters from Grumpy to Ike Nixon to 406Garage and on makes your channel very enjoyable. Keep up the great work, Casey.
Very KOOL Truck Great old Gentlemen True American
I totally agree with you!
Casey I hope when this truck is done you can film Tanner returning to give Dwayne a ride in his old truck.
Dwayne was a funny guy with some stories someone could listen to all day . Thanks for bringing us along , Casey
I used to play in this truck as a kid. I'm glad it gets to have a new life. This was a great introduction of my grandfather Duane to the internet!
He's an awesome guy!
What a nice gentleman.🇬🇧
Love older folks, they have a lot of great stories and wisdom all called 'life'. Hope your friend gets that truck running and visits Dwayne. Great to see these old trucks get a second life. ❤

“It was meant to be” is such an inspiring and appropriate closing. The new owner has set in motion an adventure that will forever change his life, and the lives of others. One day I imagine he will look back and repeat those words. Great content. Wonderful friendships. Life is a God given gift, enjoy the journey. Have a great day everyone!
Like little boys in a candy store- reminds me of my husband 50 fun years ago

Beautiful trucks those.
My mom is from Mapleton Oregon! She will be 99 in May. She probably knew this guy's family. And here I am in central Brazil watching you guys having fun in central Oregon.

I am in Vegas, I know now I am living in the wrong state, I love old guys like this. They are such a treasure.
That is a really cool old truck
That was the coolest video ever, I 🤣lmao loved the stories and the 1951 truck 🚚. Stay safe and blessed 🙌🙏❤
That is definitely a classic. I didn’t realize that it had such limited access to the engine compartment. It will be interesting to see the build.
It was a pleasure watching this video. The old man is hillarious. He is like Ed on Matts off road Recovery. Best neightbor anyone would love to have just to listen to his "Gossple" LMAO!!!
That was a lot of fun. I'll remember some of his wisecracks!
What a beauty
A standup comedian from before they existed!!!
Is there a second video? A playlist? Would love to see more of Tanner and his projects! 😎👍
this man is a lot like me!! I hope I live to see 81
This guy is a hoot!
I laughed so hard I cried.... that ol cat is one cool dude! Reminds me of my Gramp and his friends I grew up around when I was little. Maybe those tears aren't from laughing... thanks for the video!
That was one of those once in a lifetime days. Very much worth hanging on to.
This old guy is hilarious.
That elderly man so. Funny.
I was born in 1951. Whoa!
In 1953 my dad rented a truck very much like that at a place in St. Louis called You Drive It (maybe U Drive It?), and we moved 150 miles across southern Illinois. My memory is that the cab was green, but otherwise it could be the same truck, stake sides and all. There were five of us in the cab, but three of us were pretty small.
Matt's off road recovery would want the corvair I saw in the background
He has a couple! 👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
That was some of the best stand-up comedy, I've seen in years. A young man is fortunate enough to get a beautiful treasure of our American. history.
Real Actor!
Love those old cannonball chev's an gmc's . Love those ol' timers an thier yarns . Nice old cutlass etc there too , just hope the young fella gets the ol girl goin quick so he can see it again .
LMAO, the old timer guy cracked me up 😂🤣😂 Now that old truck is worth fixing , with low miles on it. Thanks for sharing made my day buddy.
👍👌👏 Oh WOW, simply fantastic! What a great truck with a hilariously funny ex owner. As much as you all laughed afterwards, I'm pretty sure that some of his funny spirit power went with the old truck.
Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards luck and health to all involved people.
Dwayne reminded me of my grandfather he passed in 08 at the age of 86 ,he would have turned 100 this Monday the 4th .even near the end he had a smile and would Crack a joke you'd ask him how he was he'd say he gets better looking everyday what's your excuse lol. Cherish these old timers and listen to there "gospel" any chance you can.
That guy was such fun! Liked your Layton nation cap. LOL
Great one!! Now Harbour freight needs to support yall and hook him up with a winch.
always wanted one of those Texas rollback trailers
What a great find. I love it. It has so much potential.
I love that old guy 😆
Many years ago, I had one of those beauties. It had absolutely NO brakes, not even an emergency brake. But it had a clutch and an ignition switch. I went over Hoover Dam with about 15 hitch hikers in the back. After I made it back up the other side, I pulled over for a break. One of the hitch hikers asked why I revved the motor so high coming down the hill. You should have seen their faces when I told 'em why!
That was a great video that guy was a hoot good score on the truck
LOL !!!! OUTSTANDING !!!
There are some unique characters in Oregon. I have always like Oregon. I think it would be a great place to live. You can be an individual and not a lot of people get into your business.
What an awesome old man with a killer sense of humor. Him and my grandpa would have got along great
