    I watched all the I through -- this is the first video that provided clarity what to eat and when and when nothing's changing it's how much or what your eating not that exercises are wrong- so great! Very Informative subscribing today just what I needed!!!!!!!!

    Gary, thanks so much for your open sharing of info. I have implemented several of your workout exercises and diet ideas...dropped 7 lbs in 2 months. I presently weigh 216 lbs and am working towards my goal of 180 lbs. I'm 5'9", on a good day, but according to my Evolt scale report, I'm 21% body fat, this is down from 32%. 180 lbs and 15% body fat would be a real achievement for me.

I did research on your website for about half an hour, but I didn't see that you were getting as much traffic as you expected.     Hi Gary! I just found you and love your approcah. I have tried ALL the "things". I did Carnivore just to take down inflamation, but I don't want to stay there because it is absolutely not sustainable for me. But I do have 50 fat pounds to lose and I need to build muscle. I am a 58 year old female and fitness NOT dieting is the approach I want. I want to focus on body composition and then I know fat loss will naturally happen.

    Gary, Thanks for your videos. I am 65 years old and I am adjusting my training and diet accordingly with my age. In the past, I’ve been stubborn and tried to lift and eat like I did in my 30’s. That was not working and I have used your videos to adjust both my training and nutrition. I’m still on my fat loss journey but I’m progressing. Keep the videos coming, I enjoy them and you inspire me to keep training.

    Yep great advice. Three square meals a day, mostly one ingredient foods. Eggs, meat, potato/rice, vegetable. No snacks, soda, alcohol, high fructose corn syrup. I had the opposite problem, until I measured out my foods for a few days, I realized I was undereating. Once I upped the calories, I started putting on muscle.

    Hi Gary, I've been watching your video's for some time now and its time to act. I just turned 60 and need to get back in shape and lose weight and put some muscle back on. 5'11' 230 lbs so BMI ~32. Not good. Got my eating pretty much dialed in and starting to work the kinks out with my home equipment. My plan is to continue to fully get my muscles primed to working out again now through August so I can hopefully start your Alpha-Maker program Sept 2nd! (need to look into the details of that)

      Hi Martha! No need to be a bodybuilder to get into great shape and improve your health!
      I typically recommend 3 to 4 days of resistance training each week. The workouts can be 20 to 45 minutes depending on your intensity and current fitness level. The other days of the week just try to stay active. Walk a block or two each day or just move more to keep your body active. I hope this helps! Thanks for the question!

    Thank you, thank you, I’m wanting to drop 10% body fat. I’m weight training and cutting calories. I know I’m gaining muscle but the body fat is not budging quick enough. I’m going to try the carb cycling.

      I am good with Intermittent Fasting as long as you can continue to get in the optimal number of calories. A lot of people that I see utilizing IF can't eat the appropriate amount of calories within their feeding window. As long as this isn't a problem, then I I'm good with incorporating both.

    Great video! I am a 60 yo woman that use to be a gym rat lol. 7 years ago, I tore my rotator cuff and had surgery. I haven't been to a gym since. Now trying not to loose the last little bit of muscle I have and loose 10lbs of fat. I have lost and gained the same 5lbs for years and still have a fat belly at 140lbs. Do you think what you are suggesting will work for me? I will be working out at home with dumbbells and treadmill. Would appreciate any other tips you have. Thank you so much.

    It all sounds good but most people aren't even happy with 1lb of fat loss per week so say those 4 days you are at maintenance and the three days the person is eating 500 calories less. That's only 1500 deficit for the week and sure they might exercise 250 a day for those 3 it comes out to just 1/2lb a week. I understand people took years and decades to get fat and its not reasonable to lose it fast but hard to stay motivated if it takes 6 months to 3 years to lose the weight.
    I got home garage gym in Oct of last year quickly lost 20 lbs and then took most of this year to lose other 25 am at healthy weight now but have 10-15lb to go to have abs visible and be near 12-13% bodyfat. I found for me warrior diet 20 hour fasts and high protein low carb low fat works for me but I do your method of eating more on heavy lifting days. I cycle those too so half shoulder/chest days are heavy and others lighter as its hard to recover at age 53 and on diet!
    But I like this approach once I hit my idea weight will give it a shot it definitely will help maintain weight that much I'm positive of.

      I hear you, my brother, and I appreciate the comment. There are a lot of different options for people to choose from when it comes to diet and nutrition, but my goal has always been sustainability and lifestyle changes over quick fixes.
      I've used several methods over my 30-year career, and this is the one I have been able to stick to for most of those years. I'm glad you found something that worked great for you, so keep up the phenomenal work! Congrats on your transformation! 💪🏼💪🏼

    I do better without carbs ! For one I don't like counting them and 2. they raise my Blood sugars to much. 3 . Give me brain fog.

      I typically recommend starting out with 150g carbs and seeing how you feel with that amount.
      Three meals per day eating 50g of carbs with each one (workout days) and then 1 protein/fat snack.
