    Nice pair of hands. Hope he will focus more on performance rather than amassing degrees in music (ma mphil phd etc) which is the trend in kerala. He needs to go to a right Guru preferably in Chennai. He has to choose guru not based on that individuals name and fame; but based on the bAni, pAtHAntaram etc. hope he will get the right guidance

      Devi Prasad is learning Mridangam from Mridanga Kala Shiromani Sri Trivandrum V Surendran Sir, who is a disciple of the great Mridangam Legendary Maestro Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Palghat Mani Iyer

      @@akshaylenin7166 V Surendran sir is a direct disciple of PMI… we all know that 🙂. But Chennai is Chennai… you need to get that exposure to learn the tricks of the trade… (my opinion)
