Even after watching ppl play the Chinese beta, I'm still not sure what the gameplay will be like. There seems to be a lot of construction/base management, but I don't know if the game revolves around that or if it's a small part. In any case, I'm excited to try it for sure. It's one of the 5-6 games I'm really looking forward to in 2024
Same thing they did with arknights, too. Now we have a number of tower defense gachas in the works or already out, but you likely would not have seen all thise games were it kot for arknigths and it's decent success.
Endfield, Wuthering Waves, Project Mugen, Crystal of Atlan, Duet Night Abyss, GFL 2. The open world gacha market will be absolutely crazy. I wish I had time to play all of them lol

@@XenoflareBahamutand its sad since the story of the game is REALLY good, the problem is how drawn out it is, it is so cluttered that it even makes me, someone who has read tons of documents of not so interesting scientifical research papers, bored and... not that interested in sitting through the story all the time
Hypergryph knows that people will get bored with mainstream style games, hence its good they are making niche genre. I like how when arknights gains popularity, other gacha started making tower defense gacha types, Endfield and Ex Astris might open that new type of genre gate. Ex Astris especially since it combines turn base, music rhythm, and rpg.
They already mentioned Arknights: Endfield is in early development That Announcement will not speedup the release progress of Endfield. Expect a release in the end of 2024 start of 2025.

No I much rather stick with Goddess of Victory Nikke. None of the Arknight characters look as good as Red Hood.

What I like about HG is they didn't try to copy mainstream game, but exploring new experience gameplay and nailed it
