NAMM, Interviews, live mixing, recording sessions, how to videos, plug in reviews, etc., etc I’m convinced that there’s THREE Warrens running around the world. As always, great work and thank you Warren and company.
I remember listening to “Hold Me” off of Mirage the first time. What a truly amazing recording. Every single thing about that song is sonically incredible.
Wonderful interview. I owned a Wally Heider 1976 3M M56 in the 1980s and i wish it could have told me the artists that recorded on it. At 30ips it was an incredible machine. I'll be looking into buying Kens books because Rumors is a part of not only my history but people worldwide. What an iconic band and album
Warren you have the best interviews. So much Rock History the music I love. And how much I've learned from you and also these interviews. It's really a service to those of us producers and engineers making music from home studios
These interviews are so interesting and inspiring. I always love your questions and interview style. I also really appreciate how you cover different genre's/artists/eras.
Hi Warren, Ken Callait is an absolute legend and an idol to me. I was already enthusiastic about his book "Making Rumors". Experiencing him here is great and I (of course) immediately took advantage of the course offer. Thank you Warren for this great opportunity to learn from a great one.
Fascinating interview. Love the stories! Great job, Warren, as always! Brings back lots of memories, having been in bands in The City in the 70s and 80s. Been to RP and Heiders/Hyde St Studio. Great times.
I read Ken's book a few years ago, really interesting and really makes you feel like you're there recording Fleetwood Mac in 1976, as Ken said, it wasn't all fun. Well worth a read.
"Rumours" is still one of my favourite albums since I spaced out right on the carpet at my thens girlfriends elderly brothers party to "The Chain" after smoking some veritable pot in 1986. :)
Absolutely love these insights into some of the greatest music ever set to tape from the people somewhat behind the scenes. Thanks to you Warren and of course MDN who I’m sure would have helped make this happen!
I listen to the interview about the various rumours tracks and went to UA-cam to listen to it. Again. But this album had Silver Springs on it. I had never heard it. And it was missing You Make Loving Fun. Sounded like an LP recording. Alternate pressing?
The Village Studios. We tracked in that room for this video here: ua-cam.com/video/5wQXadArtkc/v-deo.html And just released a course with Ken Caillat in that very room too! promixacademy.com/course/recording-and-mixing-in-the-vein-of-fleetwood-mac/

Wow. These were iconic albums. The song tusk was so unique and Sara is still one of my all time favourite songs!
Cant wait to hear the multi tracks.
yeah incredible bass tone and vibe
I read Ken's book a few years ago, it is a well written and fascinating look at an iconic album.
Thanks ever so much
Yeah I really enjoyed the read too. His unrequited crush on Stevie Nicks was sad, but his studio tales and clear craft were impressive
Ken has to be the coolest guy I've ever seen. So cool
He’s an amazing man and huge talent!
Absolutely superb to hear this. One of the most iconic albums ever made. Thanks Warren ❤
Thanks ever so much
The part about the Class A Phone Line to connect to the echo chamber is just incredible. Now we have everything in a little box.
Right? I bought the Capitol Chambers UA plug in. Lot cheaper than hiring a Class A phone line to Capitol. Haha.
Yes, crazy that they did that Mr Jones!
Yes, amazing James!
Have got both of Ken's books and read them during the COVID lockdowns - absolutely fascinating reads!
Thanks ever so much for sharing

I agree. I used to watch the video with all the guitars laying in the sand and think ' jeez I had to save up for months just to own a single Strat !'
Thank you so much for this, Warren. Like so many others, I hold this album close to my heart. I appreciate the interview. 🙌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ken is one cool dude. The stories are captivating, What a career. Brilliant interview. Thanks very much

Iconic albums and works of music. Interesting to go more deeper and deeper to figuring out the behind the scenes of it all!

Interesting, I know 'Silver Springs' has been added to some remasters, however, I haven't seen one without 'You Make Loving Fun'.
If you read Kens book yiu will get the back story with track inclusions and running order vs total elapsed time available. Silver Springs was too long
