I like that despite all of Dr.Orpheus's over the top Dr.Strangeness he's still the kinda dude that would spend a Saturday playing touch football with the guys as skins
Dr. Strange in practice, Mr. Rogers in person.
Despite his over the top flair Orpheus is the kind of guy who usually would just like hanging out and doing stuff with other people. Hell I think he even said in "Tag Sale You're it" he's a people person who enjoys the mundane interactions as much as the theatrics.
0:37 "Somebody is in my car"
Brock, every man wants your senses.
Well, like 21 once said: "Brock Samson, men write him love letters and women name their dildos after him."

I will always appreciate Orpheus calling Doc Mr. Venture. Doc not being a real doctor is the joke that keeps on giving.
It makes me think of how the Ancient One always called Strange "Mr", and when he objected she said "not anymore, surely." Of course, she was basically trying to provoke him into taking her seriously.
Funny enough Orpheus isn’t technically a really doctor either. His legal degree is in something else. But his doctorate was granted to him “by a higher power”. Namely his master.
According to what I read, Dr. Girlfriend is one of the few actual doctors on the show who got her doctorate through normal means.
@@sudanemamimikiki1527 oh yeah. Almost forgot about that
@@danielmedina4276 Except she just slept with her professor(s?)...

Give Orpheus his due. Guy might not always be the best option to call in for help, but when it’s some magic Mysticism stuff, he knows his shit. I mean he took like..5 seconds tops to realize doc was hijacked.
It was 2 seconds or about, because he touched rusty's palm, which gypsys usually use to read into the person.

@@kamikaze4172 Yeah, and the guy who took it lived to not tell the tale of how he tried to cheat Brock Samson out of a game of poker and a car part.
@@Brutalyte616 someone definitely lost their life during that scene. I think it was in Tijuana
I love the idea of Orpheus just casually playing football with the guys
"OK, that is a legitimate super power." ~LMAO~
"seen him do that from another country away."
my spot "Pfft, big deal."
my spot Five bucks says that was because it was Hank in his car, and Brock called him on the watch and hold him to get the hell out.
Dammit, now I HAVE to know if that was it!
Spy sappin my car!
"Well, obviously, you're not serious, because you know that I converted my engine to electric. It's not only green, it's 100% crybaby suicide proof, now let's talk this out." LMAO! Brock rules!
Brock is a crazy SOB, but he genuinely cares about the group.....That or he just wants his paycheck to keep coming.
@@thegeneralissimo470 He cares for them, that paycheck at times is anything but worth it sometimes. And there was a point he wasn't getting paid to protect them but he still did
Nobody’s gonna road flare their brains out
@@Gamemaster-64 Breathing in the exhaust is supposedly a relatively painless means of suicide, hence crybaby. Electrocution isn't a crybaby suicide, it's painful and brutal.
Carbon monoxide will give you a killer headache if you don't let it build up first
It's really nice to see everyone put their activities on hold to try and be supportive of Rusty when they think he's suicidal. Sure, they're all kind of crass and smarmy about it, but they are making a genuine effort to talk him out of it. They're not perfect, but they are genuinely good people.
They try.
I love how Shoreleave is the one who can't handle how much of a weenie Dean is.
Yeah shore leave is gay as it gets but hes still a highly trained soldier and athlete. He has the best one liners aside from hunter
Shore Leave is in my top 5 favorite characters. This show needs more Shore Leave
He REALLY wanted to be skins.
@Mister Guy Cause gay people LOVE weenie's. Kinda what makes them, you know, gay.
listen, he really wanted to be skins and dean pussied out because he burns instead of tanning
"Because Mr Venture is POSSESSED!!"
And that's different, just how?
Grace Skerp cause the real Mr Venture would’ve gone into a long monologue of reasons with booze and everyone would be giving him a feel better party with hookers
Thanks for that. With my damaged hearing I couldn't quite make out that last word.
The "Goodbye cruel world!" sticky note fucks me up, just because of Rusty's thousand mile stare.
"I've seen him do that from a country away."
I can 100% believe that.
Brock had the safety net of the clones, he could not really care if they died. As when they talked about their deaths, Brock and Rusty seem to talk about it like people talk about movies, in very casual conversation.
Hatred doesnt have that safety net of clones, so he actually takes more care of the boys than Brock ever did.
So Hatreds the better bodyguard!
@@tabulldog2743 of the boys yes. However, brock was only there for rusty, in which he did a better job of protecting than hatred.
@@bluntman1138 But brock legitimately cared about the boys. It wasn't casual because he didn't care, it was casual because brock has seen thousands of people die at his own hand. It's not really a "thing" to him anymore.
@@logicphile6207 I'm not talking emotionally, I'm talking hatred physically takes more care of the boys.
@@bluntman1138 Brock literally dressed them in their pajamas, checked for lice, and brushed their hair.
Small thing, I know Brock is like "oh god THIS again" but it's endearing that he's willing to talk about suicidal shit even if he thinks it's you know, just Doc being Doc. Granted this wasn't Doc but, look, you get what I mean.
1:15 Notice how Brock asks "what happened this time?"
I love how the two teams are evenly split (kind of). They each have the teenage boy, the crazy-muscled juggernauts, and then two variations of the dad body (one strong but round, the other thin and tall).
orpheus best dad bod
Took me a moment to realize the muscled juggernaught for shirts was Shoreleave though I'd say Hatred fits that role more.
@@Servellion Well he may not be a massive tank like Brock, but he's still in really good shape
@@ServellionHatred has a “retired military” dadbod thing going on. Shoreleave still has the military bod.
@@campfortson4387 He took like a dozen tranq rounds and was still conscious, dude is legitimately a tank he's just getting old.
You know I tried killing myself by sitting in Brocks' car after losing badly in Poke Night 2, but Brock just dragged me to the nearest psychiatrist.
lol
I would say you should have tried hitting him with a truck,,,, but I'm not that kinda person
That was nice of him.
The truck would not have survived Brock.
Shoulda tried stealing his knife
I love that Shore Leave, a badass secret agent who works for the O.S.I., and Dr. Orpheus, a master of the mystic arts who has his own magical adventures, both are happy just hanging out playing football with the boys on some random afternoon.
I can see Brock never got his Icarus tattoo finished.
It's actually supposed to be Apollo on the album.
I love Orpheus' voice actor
It’s heartening seeing Rusty’s family take care of him
"alright, THAT is a legitimate superpower."
Brock has got to be the best bodyguard... Not only can he protect you from others, but also yourself
REALLY wanted to see Dr. Orpheus play football.
so I'm not the only one
@@davisthegamelord But you are the only one to make the same reply three times in a row.
1:44, it's Rusty Venture. The list has its own series of books.
It's really long
Pause. Did Brock just say he replaced the engine in a Dodge Charger R/T with an electric one?
Probably some super science engine at least, he did have to rebuild it after his car tried to kill him.
Probably electric supplied by some mini nuclear reactor. I can't see a 69 Charger performing like it should on some pussy golf cart batteries.
There actually is a niche community that have turned retro cars into fully electric vehicles. Beats having to keep up with sourcing original parts.
It made me like Brock 200% more.
Pretty sure he took an electric engine from a train and supplies it with a nuclear reactor
This is where it is obvious that Brock is the better bodyguard. Note when Dr. V is trying to impale himself on the knife, how Brock just nonchalantly snatches it away and tells him to knock it off. Whereas Sgt. Hatred probably would've panicked and started screaming "INTO THE PANIC ROOM!"
The one time he did that was when Guild minions went rouge. And I htink Brock would be rattled in that scenario too.
"Your just mad you didnt get to be skins..." "I wanted us both to be skins!!! But no...thanks to dean..." I like that
i love shore leave they need to write him in more lol
No it's like Scrubs. When you have awesome side characters, you should rotate them through episodes. Treat them like sprinkles on the main show
"seen 'im do that from a country away."
em*
+ArkAngelHFB No, 'im. It's an abbreviation of "him". 'Em is an abbreviation of "them" and would require a plural reference. If you're going to be pretentious and correct someone's grammar on UA-cam you might want to actually... know grammar. Douche.

It’s a real shame about the show there is a golden rule never leave cliffhangers
The real question is how many people got into Brock's car for them to realize he had that superpower?
More importantly, why would you choose to get into Brock's car knowing he has that power and knowing what he'll do to you?
Suicide by Brock
@SithSpit Danikan honestly. That may have happened
They're crazy to get into Brock's car
I like how Orpheus always calls him mister Venture and not doctor
The way Brock deals with this makes me wonder if he had to stop Doc from killing himself before?
"What happened this time?"
i mean if i had docs father i wouldnt be too mentally stable either
Shore Leave the only person who can turn someone's name into an insult lol.
"Hank, if there was any time I needed you to not be Hank it is now." -almost what Brock said. Sorta.
Henchman 21 should use the mind control technology to make Rusty "douchebag" Venture clone 24 using the finger he was given.
Doctor O destroyed the machines when he used the cleansing of fire to prepare Hitlers death ritual
this is one of my shore leaf moments
1. i really wanted to be skins
2. oh really? then why is he trying to hang himself from yout tie?
"Thanks buddy... put your shirt on." Always cracks me up.
“I really wanted to be skins.”
I know, I know...
Did anyone else ever catch that Orpheus said Mr. Venture instead of doctor. Not sure if its because of Orpheus' belief of Venture's science or cuz Doc dropped out of school
ROFL shoreleave's Dean rant
That might not be his doing. My theory is that the power outage from when Doc started the teleporter caused these H&D clones to come out early and that could have change their bodies and minds to be less death-prone. That or that Dr O's resurrecting spell worked in a way he didn't expect it to do.
“What happened this time” so Rusty tries to kill himself often?
“Alright. That is a legitimate supper power.”
BROCK didn't just let him die? Like he wanted to know what was wrong. Under his violent brutal exterior he has a heart of gold.
Gurtington you want know what I just realized Brock has multiple face designs throughout the entire series.
They toned him down some. I think it's also goes he likes Rusty and was assigned to protect him in the first place
There's mounds of evidence that Brock legitimately cares for the Ventures and is basically the de facto dad of the group
Anyone that doubts that about Brock at this point needs to go watch “Operation, P.R.O.M.” again.
When he thought he was too late and was racing against the clock to save the boys and Doc, that wasn’t determination on his face. That man was-for the first time in a long while-terrified he wouldn’t make it in time.
Not to mention, he says as much about caring for them when Doc discovers him and Gathers in the hanger and he talks about how it’s been killing him to live so close to the boys and not let them know they’re safe.
@@kamikaze4172 Well, Rusty and Brock were collage room mates. For like a week?
The best part of this clip is how much everyone has each other backs. Its all guy friendships so they shit on each other but will always help each other.
I ever had a voicemail I demand Dr. O be the voice of my voicemail
"I am sorry but I can not come to the phone right now. I am in the midst of exorcising a demonic werehorse _FROM HELL_. Leave a message and I shall contact you at my earliest convenience."
Scarlet soltice "You have a new EEEEEEMAAAAIIL!"
Gotta hand it to Hatred, guy took a full on Brock tackle and brushed it off like it was nothing. I hate how they nerfed Hatred and made him into a pansy in the later seasons.
I fucking love this show. Seriously bummed it's not getting another season.
Reminds me of Brock Samson's car sense
"Seen him do that from another country away"
Still sounds like a gas dodge charger when he drives it.
No one's allowed in brock's Adrianne
that over the shoulder catch by hatred was crisp.
So if Brocks car still sounds like a gas powered car does that mean he put speakers to make it sound normal? It even has the idle sound and a working shifter...
Most likely.
I seem to recall in the very early days of modern electric vehicles, some had to do exactly this. Because being almost entirely silent (at least, by comparison), people were less aware of them moving nearby (particularly in areas where pedestrians and vehicles share space - like parking lots).
Is Brock ever gonna get is Icarus tattoo finished?
Screw this, I am gonna watch the whole series again. No regrets.
You'd think a jock like Brock would never drive an electric car and would consider it emasculating, but somehow Brock managed to make it brutal and manly!
IMO it's more emasculating to cave to peer pressure. Better to do what you want and stick it to anyone who things they can manipulate you.
I think I realy have to watch this show some day.
This guy is the best magic dude cause he is actually legit and on point with his magic
Ermahgerd, i dont remember this clip either, its either been too long, or i actually managed to miss an episode or two o.o
I just started watching this show and I love it.
You've made a wise choice sir.
You better catch up because their last season comes out soon. Then that's it.
the Guild of Redcorn I don’t like the idea of waiting, I’ll wait till it’s over to start 😂
That is the best character to do a cut away
Somebody's in my car now. That's a superpower everyone would want.
I'm surprised Brock would be willing to play football after what he did to Tommy on the field when he was in college. Poor kid. He shouldn't have tried to run away.
Helper's head was lodged in his chest after an explosion
I know! This show is just so amazingly random!

He synced his pacemaker to his car lmfao.

Shore leave is my spirit animal! I love him so much!
Fuck..I love this episode..
Never could take the car as seriously after this...
Where would I go to start this show
i have to agree, that is a legitimate super power
Brock would be a perfect Elder Scrolls guard
Dr. Venture must've seen lots of sick, disgusting fanarts of his favorite pokemon.
Because Mr. Venture..... is POSSESSED!!
The end
or the fact Dr. Orpheus is playing football
i want that super power when i get a car.
