Mîłęś Rėm̀m̀êł Hey buddy, just thought I’d answer This question cause it’s a good one, I’m a paramedic in Ireland and the reason we would stop to do that is it’s actually quite dangerous and if we have to stop quickly with someone following us like that, they could crash into us, meaning we wouldn’t arrive to the call at all! So for the few seconds it takes to tell someone to stop, we can save lives, good question!
10:47 what everyone should do when an emergency vehicle is trying to pass them (obv if they can, there are situations where you cant make room but some people act like they are driving tanks not cars)
@@AB-cs7vm I see what you mean Ive just had a look on the internet and I literally can not find anything about this car. And most rapid response card have AMBULANCE writing on the front whilst this does not
When a driver of another one of these from the same company was questioned at a hospital, he had a cartwheel and pips with an old wmas like uniform. They do organ runs but very dodgy if you see the actual full lenth video, plus made to look exactly like NHS RRV
@Logan and Mackenzie actually it's a trauma car. So if the helicopter cannot fly due to weather or mechanical problems, they will respond in a marked vehicle. They don't go around finding places for the helicopter to land.
in response to both comments the red car has two purposes if they are unable to fly due to mechanical or weather conditions as stated but also as a liaison vehicle to assess the patient and determine if said individual requires a HEMS Helicopter (this practice is rare/uncommon).
@@airbusaviation8266 Incorrect, the car is usually used by a team leader or advanced paramedic, as they can go to different scenes etc so they do not travel in the van, or theyre just a normal LAS advanced paramedic
this is a first for me I all ways think that a Ambulance always speed up in a emergency I had no idea that a Ambulance all so slow down in a emergency, you have a 40 mile and hour zone and the Ambulance was not even doing 30 miles and hour with nothing at all to impede that Ambulance the road was clear, that is one of the reason that people have a problem with authority, they make laws that do not make any common sense at all, a emergency to my logical thinking I always think that it is a race agains time, if the Ambulance is travelling so slow how does that classify as a emergency.if that is how all these Ambulance operate no wonder so much people die before they reach hospital.
to me this is just stupidity the Ambulance is on a main road the road is empty there is nothing at all to impede that Ambulance and the Ambulance is driving slow in a 40 miles zone, my hold idea of emergency is some thing critical and race against time, you have on emergency light and you are driving slow and taking you own time you do not consider other road user that they have some where to go, I know that you have delicate patients but by the time the Ambulance reach where it is going that patients would be in a worst condition people that is in authority see them self as supernatural and above the law, I do not see it that way we are all equal if your are a police you are a public servant so why is a conversation with the police always one sided you give respect to get respect not because you have on a uniform it is only you alone that is expected to speaks, you never want to hear another person point a view there are no open communication with people that is in authority and the general public it is just you do as you are told are you be arrested.
Fair play to the EMS driver at 4:59 - telling off the vehicle trying to sneak through traffic behind them.
