      It's a great philosophy to think I don't deserve anything. I get so happy with everything I get. And it's also interesting how men are attracted to happy women. I don't think I could feel like this without my surgeries though.

    Hey Maya, i took 25 mg cyproterone as my blocker for a few years. It brought my t levels to near zero but there was some major depression as a downside. I had my bottom surgery in November and when i stopped taking it 3 weeks prior to my surgery my mood lifted like magic :) now i don't have that dark cloud hovering over me anymore. I hope you don't experience that negative side effect. Message me if you want. take care

      When I started with 25mg cypro and no E, I was depressed as heck. when I went down to 12.5mg, I felt better in just a few days.

    • @nukenade4623
      @nukenade4623 5 років тому +1

      i think the lack of testosterone has to do with the mood depression as its known in a majority of males to be a big mood booster and thus when you 1st start reducing it the body has to get used to it.

    • @AnnaëlleD
      @AnnaëlleD 5 років тому

      Yes, HRT have moods effects. For me it was progesterone in capsules that put me in (very) severe depression. Then I stopped it, and few days later I was fine! Now I take progesterone in gel format, applied on my skin, and it's OK. It is important to communicate with medical practitioners for they can adjust the treatment and propose other ways to the same goal.

    Maya! Super stoked you’re embracing that gorgeous natural curl/wave!! But you need to make sure your hair products don’t contain any sulphates or silicones!!! Sulphates (usually in shampoo) are too harsh and drying, and then silicones (often in conditioners and styling products) coat your hair with plastic that doesn’t allow any moisture in. Plus they aren’t water soluble so need to be shampooed out with sulphates. It’s a vicious, drying, damaging cycle! Also avoid drying alcohols (some alcohols are moisturizing). Look into “the curly girl method”. There’s a book with that name by Lorraine Massey that has lots of great basic information about curl types, products, styling methods etc. And there are TONS of UA-cam channels and Instagram accounts that are dedicated to it. Everyone’s hair is unique, but if you find someone with similar hair to yours you can see what products they use and then see what works for you. I hope you try it, you’ll be amazed how soft and healthy your hair becomes! Great video! Enjoyed seeing what your day was like. ✨💖✨

    Maya, hair is ALWAYS the very first thing that I notice about a woman, so I hope you'll take my word for it that your natural hair is gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful. So many women would kill to have your hair, so don't fret! Like you said, just embrace it and ENJOY it! It's beautiful!
    If you were to 1) Realize how pretty your natural hair is, then 2) you would be even more confident about your appearance, much more confident.
    Do yourself a huge favor, and accept your beautiful, natural, hair!

    I made a meatless lasagna a couple weeks ago that was absolutely ridiculous. It still had a ton of cheese, so it definitely wasn't vegan, but instead of Italian sausage, my wife got an idea to use portobello mushrooms, so I chopped up a couple of portobellos and sauteed them in butter with some oregano, basil, sage, thyme, marjoram, and garlic, and I used that instead of meat. I literally couldn't tell the difference. So fucking good.

    Have you considered switching to sublingual or bucal administration for your estrogen? (dissolving under your tongue or lip). You get way better absorption rates than simply taking it orally. Even even better would be injections!

  • @ErinRaciell

    Estrogen will only allow you to get definition or muscle tone but you will not be able to bulk per say. But yes! Carbs are perfect right after a workout because your body makes use of them efficiently.

    Hey Maja! Thanks for the video! How do you do it with the dressing rooms in the gym? Is it challenging? I am at the beginning of my physical transition and I don't dare to go to any gym or social sports apart from Roller Derby (where trans people are welcome, yay!) just because of the changing rooms. I don't feel comfortable in going neither to male nor female dressing rooms.

    Happy fitness journey my sweet! I wish you didn't think you hated your body, you look just fine. We're all different for a reason! I had to come to terms with about 60lb weight loss, and ended up with an abdominal "curtain" they call it on the surgery shows I watch lol... I don't have the $$ to get surgery for it, just had top surgery about 8 months ago, and do NOT want another surgery! I'll just keep tucking my fat flaps into spandex LOL! LOVE the video, keep on keepin on, looking good! Take baby steps with stuff, if you do too much change at once, it's harder to make it a daily and long term habit ;-)

    Oral estrogen?! Bad Maya! (or endo) :P You lose most of the estrogen to first-pass metabolism :(
    I bet if you took it sublingually you wouldn't even need the Spiro or Cypro :) I'm doing it with sublingual estrogen only and it keeps my T-levels in the castrate range (+ it feels great, with none of the anti-androgenic side effects) :3 Would suggest consulting this with your endo :)

    • @delukxy
      @delukxy 6 років тому

      I hit the thumbs up on the above but it's better to do an actual post saying that you can lose up to 40% of the effectiveness taking it with a glass of water. Let it dissolve sublingually or sub buccally i.e. under the tongue or better and easier just under the side lower jaw. There is a pocket there which makes it easier. I mentioned ages ago that 4mg was only an average sort of dose and that 6mg might well suit you better and give you a boost. At the same time, I said that I'd read posts that said that the Canadian system was very conservative but you need to fight your corner.

    • @elise3455
      @elise3455 6 років тому +1

      @@delukxy Yeah. I tried bucally at first but it just never diffused into the blood stream (always took more than an hour). There are just too few blood vessels there, as opposed to under the tongue. Under the tongue you can also isolate the pill by pressing down the tongue on it, making sure none of the estrogen gets swallowed-forcing it all to diffuse through the skin (takes about 20-30 min). Downside being you can't talk properly for the time, but that's a minor issue :)

    • @ChimaeraPwns
      @ChimaeraPwns 6 років тому +1

      Gel is also a good alternative for most. (sadly for some transdermal application of drugs works less than for others)
      You don't have the first pass effect, you have a better balance between estriol and estron, which can otherwise have androgenetic effects in your body and you most often don't lose as much, as you do with taking pills sublingually, which always come down the oral route for some percentage whatsoever.
      It's more convenient as well :)

    • @delukxy
      @delukxy 6 років тому +1

      Yes gel is OK but it's expensive for the same effectiveness. The Canadian system is likely not willing to prescribe that. I will just repeat that I think it would be advantageous for Maya to up her dosage, in my non medical opinion.

    I know you want breast augmentation. I'm not sure if you looked into it or know about "breast implant illness", it is a real thing. Breast implants can introduce toxicity into your body and people can become very sick as result. I understand your premise to get implants and yes, the results can be wonderful. As far as I can tell, there hasn't been a non toxic breast implant that has been developed yet. I wish you the best of luck in any case, please keep us posted. ( .^_^. )
