The new selene is better in design concept. Selever is mainly supposed to be charismatic (but ends up being a dick lol), so her idle sprite represents charisma in a genderbend format. Also I like the new ponytail instead of the long hair, since Selever technically had a short ponytail too. Also it just visually looks more enhanced.
As for the voices, old Selene's fits the description of what a genderbend Selever would be, but the new Selene vocals could stand on it's own if you didn't know it was supposed to be a genderbend.

My only criticism to the new Selene is that it lacks the more-bratty energy that the old Selene has.

The “new Selene” is not the new Selene. Her name is Selvena, and her voice is going to improve a lot. Selvena is a gender swap version of MFM As there is another Ruvina, another Sarvin.
