Great tune, not as deep as the earlier stuff but there are few '80s poppers that are this tuneful, and the words not only pun mercilessly, they essay some very nice double entendre. Wish the guitar break was longer, though. Thnks for posting!
Thanks for sharing all these tracks. Pretty big for me. I had these on a cassette that someone shared way back. This avenue is my only access, as you know what happens to cassette music.
I prefer their mid-80s stuff, more melodious than their rather abstract and stiff early 80s work, but the 80s was full of brilliance if you ignore the bullshit clamming up the mainstream, though it's bullshit, I hasten to add, that most seem happy to love, and blaming other acts when it ISN'T them, but the ones everyone goes on about and STILL holds high now!!
Comsat Angels are easily one of the most sadly overlooked and underappreciated bands of the 1980s.
