We werent allowed to talk about our symptoms or show them and other stuff 2 weeks without seeing relatives at the beginning, no food allowed, no phone in the hospital, closed window but after a while you could have outings with your family or with your friends for 2 hours ! Honestly hospital saved my life but i am doing bad again after a few months (but not as bad as before) 😕

I really try my best to not look at anyone else's wounds, self includes or not, it triggers me and I'm already harming daily, but if I see someone's wounds I always always think "my cuts aren't deep or wide enough"

You can admit yourself. You can go to a normal hospital I think and tell them about your problems and that your suicidal and they will hospitalize you and if your parents want to take you out they can’t unless the hospital makes sure your good to go. But don’t quote me on this I’m not very sure and I hope you get better

One of the psych hospitals I was at was absolutely the worst. The doctor was very rude and manipulative and made everyone feel like it was their fault. The staff hated us, there were fights almost every day. And everyone went nuts in there. The doctor threatened to keep me for 6 months, not because I needed it, but because I didn’t wanna listen to his rude ass and listen to him talk to me the way he did. He made people cry all the time.
Oh and I had a PTSD episode (that they caused by putting me near someone that was screaming and cursing and such) and then forced me to take pills, AND ON TOP OF THAT, the next day I had to write an essay on why I had an “outburst” in the unit and didn’t “use my coping skills”

This hurt me to watch, sounds like some severe trauma. Im glad my parents did not react to my self harm, by not taking any action I was able to stop on my own without any extra stress or fear that it was a big deal.

When they body checked you did they ask you first and was it invasive or just the usual arms and legs? I have never heard of staff body checking minors in psych hospitals, i thought it was illegal. But i live in the US
You usually have to wear a hospital gown, they check nearly everywhere. Even the stomach, back, shoulders, between the fingers, etc. I live in the us too. They have to ensure your safety

Im in the US too, and when I went they checked every wear, they made me strip down, and they would look in every single place, it was uncomfortable
This story is why I don’t tell anyone. I don’t want to be hospitalized, and observed all the time.
I was hospitalized 3 times, by the third timei was on seroquel and other drugs that helped me along

Like sand heal the beach
Remove your scars and tattoos (with sand) heal the ocean
You could do it in the blood moon it's emotionally inspiring and should help you push through the pain
