Also he is a defensive liability. Most switches onto a decent offensive player 6ft or taller is gonna cook him unless he gets a lucky steal but even then counting on a lucky pick is not something you want to count on every defensive play.

Trust me im 5 10. I always looked puney on the court even though im actually a solid built normal height guy off the court. Its not just height but even the wingspan and total body frame of basketball players is crazy. I always looked like a midget but it is what it is.
Iam 6’0 1/2 and was the midget of the basketball team. And on film I looked like this 5’7 guy compared to my teammates. And when I did volleyball for 8 days I was also the midget of the team. So I did baseball and guess what? Because everyone was big a buff I looked small even though I was taller 😢
He doesn't have offers because he's a short guard who scores primarily at the rim. Scouts already view him as a liability on defense, so him not being shooter makes him more of a liability. Hopefully, he'll get an offer soon, I'd hate to see his size be the only thing holding him back.

Exact words. This was 2009. It’s getting worse for little guys because the PG now are 6’4 plus

And thats if we are talking serious HS bball cause college is about these ranges too but the bigs a little taller 6'6-9 (and SF is like 6'5-7). Almost near impossible to make it into the NBA and have a decent career under 6 feet. Many great players have tried and failed. Only few have done it and they’re the rare exceptions.

There's also the JUCO route - which may give him more time to hit a growth spurt and get a bit taller. Dennis Rodman graduated high school at 5'9" and had no college offers - for 2 years he worked at night and played rec league ball. In those 2 years, he had a major growth spurt and attracted the attention of a community college scout. Rodman played 1 year of JUCO Ball and then finished out at a NAIA School, where he made All-American and got drafted by the Pistons. Life takes dramatic turns - stay focused and work hard on your Goals/Aspiration and they have a way of coming true.
