@@alansamuel2454 I didn't think low 46's were humanely possible. It never even crossed my mind that *2* people would be pushing one another that far to do the near impossible. It's the only way these types of feats can come to fruition. Time's past has shown us that time and time again, we reach the pinnacle of our best only when challenged by a rival.

Same can be said about the women's side. 3 people, including our top ladies, and Femke, have broken the previous record all in the same year as well. They've really pushed one another to unseen heights, and Sydney and Femke aren't even 23 years old yet. It's truly remarkable.
Warhom and Benjamin rivalry should be here for sometime... Barring injury or a doping scandal.. We can rest assured it's gonna be fun watching the 400 M hurdles for a few years

Rain, rain, rain - cold, cold, cold, storms, storms, storms - it is just INCREDIBLE what this man has done!! Much of his sucess belongs also to his trainer - Leif Olav Alnes - himself a great talent, but after a traffic injury he started as trainer. Wow - am I excited about the WC!!! (and - if not the two extra steps on the nineth hurdle - I believe the world record would be in serious danger...)

ZD ZMi It’s a fact that African origin athletes are Better at track events. They hold every single track record from 100 mt to the marathon. So to see a white kid, dominate this event, and also running sub 47, is just unbelievable.
With this race the championships in Doha will be a legendary race. We might see a new world record there if the conditions are right. Maybe in the 46.5 - 46.6 range. Time will tell.

Kind of like the 2019 WC with Sydeny Mclaughlin and Dalilah Muhammad all over again - maybe we'll see both break the WR. That's insane - a WR isn't even a guarantee of a gold medal.

Karsten is faster than ever atm. 33.26 in the 300m hurdles says a lot. 2.3 sec behind Bolt`s 300m flat PB, in a season where he ran 19.56 in the 200m. I guess he`d do close to 44 for the 400m and close to 20 for the 200m

They measure from the torso, which starts from the shoulder. By pushing his hand out he rotates a bit which causes his lead shoulder to accelerate and give him a slight advantage. He knows exactly what he's doing, believe me.
Warhom eccentric behaviour on track tells me that he is spiked. I have seen this before. When a runner is spiked they behave differently. They either become glum and 'turned-off' (see Ben Johnson) or they become over-hyped, shouty and generally un-natural. I have seen Warholm in interviews and he is calm and measured. On track, he looks and sounds like a different person. I don't believe a bit of it. I also have a strong feeling he is protected for some reason. I don't like it.
