And now he’s dipped below 46 seconds. Unbelievable. 45.95, 46.17, 46.72, 47.08 and 47.12 all in one race. They have completely and utterly eclipsed this historic race.

@@alansamuel2454 I didn't think low 46's were humanely possible. It never even crossed my mind that *2* people would be pushing one another that far to do the near impossible. It's the only way these types of feats can come to fruition. Time's past has shown us that time and time again, we reach the pinnacle of our best only when challenged by a rival.

Even I never even thought of low 46's at all. I saw a WR coming for sure but this really takes the cake. I'd like to see Kevin Young's reaction to this to be honest.

@@alansamuel2454 Same. I've been a fan of intermediate hurdles for a decade now. Seeing a world record broken by 2 people, multiple times, and in *one season* is truly incredible. Same can be said about the women's side. 3 people, including our top ladies, and Femke, have broken the previous record all in the same year as well. They've really pushed one another to unseen heights, and Sydney and Femke aren't even 23 years old yet. It's truly remarkable.

And most of my childhood, I grew up in the same climatic surcumstances, as Karsten W has.
Rain, rain, rain - cold, cold, cold, storms, storms, storms - it is just INCREDIBLE what this man has done!!
Much of his sucess belongs also to his trainer - Leif Olav Alnes - himself a great talent, but after a traffic injury he started as trainer.

Three men under 47 alive and kicking! Last year I thought that Samba was the best possibility but now he has to level up his game even more.

Warhom eccentric behaviour on track tells me that he is spiked. I have seen this before. When a runner is spiked they behave differently. They either become glum and 'turned-off' (see Ben Johnson) or they become over-hyped, shouty and generally un-natural. I have seen Warholm in interviews and he is calm and measured. On track, he looks and sounds like a different person. I don't believe a bit of it. I also have a strong feeling he is protected for some reason. I don't like it.
