Angela, I really love your videos. I am a 59 yr old retired doctor and I make 6 or 7 vacation trips to Japan since I retired 5 years ago. I go alone ( I'm an old bachelor ), and have been to many places in Japan. Nayoro City in Hokkaido is one of my favorites. Also Kotohira in Shikoku. Who knows, maybe I'll bump into you on one of my trips. Hope to see you. Thanks again for your fun videos.
As someone who at the moment doesn't drive, I appreciate you showing us how to get around without a car. Noticed the beer garden was sponsored by Sapporo Beer. Makes sense. Loved all the nature. That rickshaw guy seemed really nice and very knowledgeable!
I really really loved your humble way of making these videos and I loved the background noises of cars driving by, water running down the streams and people talking just reminded me of my time there and in your other video when you went to that fish market in Hakodate and saying ( $150 ) same thing happened to me as it was too expensive for me also to try. Please never add any silly and odd music to your videos just make them simple and original like this and obviously I’m subscribing to your channel now🙂.

Back when I was a kid, there was this documentary series about Hokkaido that I used to watch on TV after school, and ever since then, I've always been dreaming of living there. I'm suddenly reminded of that after watching this lol. Great video! :)
Holy crap! Was watching this video with my wife months after returning from our honeymoon there. We were pleasantly surprised to see you start in Nakajima Park (which we loved), but then you also stayed at the same exact hotel! We loved the picnic-style breakfasts each morning.
We stayed at Hotel Unwind Sapporo for our honeymoon! The picnic-style breakfasts were something we always looked forward to, and the elevators that smelled like a campfire were a real treat, too! We're looking to return to Sapporo for 2 weeks again next summer, and we'll definitely be spending the majority of our time staying there again.
I honestly think this is one of your best videos of 2017. Full of adventure, promoting businesses without feeling like an advertisement, and lots of funny moments! Awesome stuff!

Amazing rooftop and free drinks at Hotel Unwind!! Looked rather empty while you filmed though. Plus I have to say the rickshaw guy was pretty informative. Have never tried going on one, but without knowing Japanese, and without subtitles, I don't think it'd work. Great video as always :)

I've been to Hokkaido this summer and I would say that it is one of the most beautiful prefecture in Japan. I just started having some nostalgia seeing Otaru and Sapporo in your video! Great work!! :D

Hi Angela! If you go back to Hokkaido with a car, I definitely recommend Shakotan! The cape coastline was so beautiful and peaceful. I did a road trip for 9 days in Hokkaido with 3 other people and loved it.
i like view beside the train between sapporo to otaru. it's very beautiful. otaru is little town. you can walk around that like hakodate. i love both city and wanna go back again someday. thaks
