You claim Umar (RA) hurt Fatima (RA) when even now, the top ayatollahs and shia sheikhs AND NON MUSLIM historians reject the whole incident on many grounds. On top of that you claim Imams are chosen by Allah when there isn't a verse about Imamate in the Quran. You also believe in the distortion of the Quran which Uthman (RA) supposedly did; this automatically takes you out of the fold of Islam for belief in the Quran is part of a Muslims faith. And then on top of that the Shia tafsir produced such as Tafsir Qummi state the most disgusting things about Ahlul-Bayt where in some of the (fabricated) narrations it states that Ali (RA) is a she-camel, the beast of the earth, a mosquito and a bee! May Allah guide the shias. If you're going to be a shia, stay away from the ithna ashari madhab, be a Zaidi, you'll still be within the folds of Islam.

Yes I know the verses, when I said there is no mention of Imamate in the Quran I am talking about the Imamate the ithna ashari shias believe in. Yes, all those from Ali (RA) to Hasan Askari (rahimahumullah) were imams in their own right i.e. Great scholars of Islam but it stops there. Kama Salayta ala Ibrahim wa ala Ali Ibrahim.." That is not Salawat?! Crazy how they try to deceive us.. I have never been happier and more at peace in my life :) Don't make assumptions about a religion based on what internet blogs say. Do your research through authentic and reliable sources. I've done my research. The scientific and linguistic miracles of the Quran, the moral character of the prophet (peace be upon him), everything about it is fascinating. It teaches us to be proactive in all aspects of life but unfortunately many Muslims aren't portraying the true image of Islam. Its a shame.

The largest branch of the Shi’ah, and the most vehement against Islam are the “Ithnaa ‘Ashariyyah” or the “Twelvers”. They are also referred to as the “Raafidah”, or the “Rejectors” due to their rejection of the first two Caliphs and Companions, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar (radhi Allaahu ‘anhumaa).
So here we will mention just some of the corrupt and deviated concepts of the Shi’ah religion that their scholars have penned in their own books:
[1] Their Belief Concerning The Twelve Imaams Of The Shi’ah:
Al-Kulainee mentions in his book, Usool al-Kaafee (1/258-260):
“If the Imaams desire to know something, they come to know it. They know when they will die - and none of them dies unless they choose to do so themselves.”
This book of al-Kulainee to the Shee’ah is the most reliable source reference. The Shee’ah ascribe divinity to these Imaams, worshipping them as Allaah is worshipped.
One of their Scholars, Haashim al-Bahraanee stated in his book, Yanaabee’ul-Ma’aajiz wa Usoolud-Dalaa’il (Chapter 5, p. 35-36) regarding the twelve Imaams of the Shi’ah:
“They have knowledge of what is in the Heavens, and knowledge of what is in the Earth, they have knowledge of what has passed and they have knowledge of what is to come, and they know what happens in the night and the day, and from one hour to the next hour - and they have the knowledge possessed by the Prophets and even more than it.”
This corrupt belief of theirs contradicts the Qur'an. Allah the Most High says:
قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۚ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ
"Say, None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected." (Surah An-Naml 27: Verse 65)
One their great Shaikhs of this era, Abdul-Muhsin al-Ameenee an-Najafee stated in his book Al-Ghadeer (1/214-216):
“Verily the [Twelve] Imaams are the sons of Allaah and from the offspring of ‘Alee.”
This outright kufr, the Shi'as ascribe sons to Allaah just as the Christians ascribe a son to Allaah. Allaah the Most High says:
مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِنْ وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُۥ مِنْ إِلٰهٍ ۚ إِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلٰهٍۢ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ ۚ سُبْحٰنَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
"Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]." (Surah Al-Muminoon 23: Verse 91)
[2] The Shi’ite Belief Regarding The Noble Qur’aan.
The Raafidah claim that the Qur’aan that is with the Sunnis is not that which was revealed to Muhammad (salallaahu ‘alaihi wassallam). They claim it has been altered, changed and added to. Indeed the vast majority of their clerics and scholars believe the Qur’aan has been altered and distorted from the original, as has been mentioned clearly by their Scholar, An-Nooree at-Tabreesee (d. 1320H) in his book, Faslul-Khitaab fee Ithbaat Tahreefi Kitaabil-Arbaab.
Al-Kulainee mentions in Usoolul-Kaafee (2/242) that the Qur’aan that was brought by Jibraa’eel to Muhammad (salallaahu ‘alaihi wassallam) had seventeen thousand verses. This means that the Qur’aan the Raafidah claim was revealed is more than what is with us today, because what we have before us today consists of just over six thousand Aayahs! And it is Allaah who has promised to preserve it:
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
“Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an and indeed, We will be its guardian.” (al-Hijr 15:9)
[3] Their Belief With Respect To The Companions Of Allaah’s Messenger (salallaahu ‘alaihi wassallam) And His Wives.
The belief of the Rawaafid is built upon reviling and abusing the Companions (may Allaah be pleased with all of them). They declare all the Companions to be disbelievers with the exception of three. Al-Kulainee states this in his Al-Kaafee which is a source reference for them:
“All the people apostated after the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wassallam) except for three, those being: Miqdaad ibn Aswad, Abu Dharr al-Ghifaaree and Salmaan al-Faarisee.” (Rijaal al-Kashshee, p.6, Al-Kaafee Kitaab ar-Rawdah, 12/312,322, with Sharh Jaami’ of Maazindaraanee)
The Shi'ah declare the companions to be disbelievers which contradicts the saying of Allah the Most High:
وَالسّٰبِقُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ الْمُهٰجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُمْ بِإِحْسٰنٍ رَّضِىَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِى تَحْتَهَا الْأَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ۚ ذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
"And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment." (Surah At-Tawba 9: Verse 100)
The Muhajirun are those who migrated with the Messenger of Allaah from Makkah to Madinah, bear in mind that the first three Khulaafah were amongst them (Abu Bakr, 'Umar and 'Uthmaan may Allaah be pleased with them).
The Ansar are those Sahabah who lived in Madinah and they aided, supported and welcomed the Muhajirun (those Sahabah who migrated from Makkah to Madinah). So Allaah swt has clearly stated that He is pleased with them and has promised them all paradise.
[4] The Shi'ah Belief Regarding The People Of Sunnah.
The Raafidee Shi’ee belief teaches that the wealth of the Sunni is permissible to take and his blood is permissible to spill. It states in their book, Al-Anwaar an-Nu’maaniyyah of al-Jazaa’iree (2/206-207) that the Ahlus-Sunnah are impure and filthy unbelievers by the consensus of the Shi’ite scholars, and are more evil than the Jews and Christians.
In some other books it states that it is permissible to kill Ahlus-Sunnah - whom they refer to as Naasibees, because of their [false] belief that Sunnis hate ‘Alee ibn Abee Taalib (may Allaah be pleased with him). They state that Sunni can be killed by drowning him, or by crushing him under a wall, or by any other secretive means that leaves the Shi’ite killer undetected. These wicked intentions of the Shi’ites are clearly stated in their books, see: Rijaal al-Kashshee, p. 529, Tahdheeb al-Ahkaam, 1/384, Wasaa’il ash-Shee’ah, 6/340.
[5] The Raafidah Shi’ah Believe That The Lord They Worship Is Not The Lord That Is Worshipped By Ahlus-Sunnah.
One of the leading Shi’ite clerics and scholars, Ni’matullaah al-Jazaa’iree in his book, Al-Anwaar an-Nu’maaniyyah (2/278-279) stated:
“We are not united with them (i.e. Ahlus-Sunnah) regarding the Deity that is worshipped, nor regarding the Prophet, nor the Imaam - and that is because they (Ahlus-Sunnah) say that their Lord is the one who’s Prophet is Muhammad, and his Khaleefah is Abu Bakr - and we do not recognise such a Lord, nor such a Prophet. Rather we say: Indeed the Lord who made Abu Bakr the Khaeefah of His Prophet is not our Lord, and such a Prophet is not our Prophet!”
It is possible that their are some ignorant Shi’ah who ascribe themselves to the Shi’ite sect, or call themselves Ja’farees or Twelvers and do not know the wicked beliefs of the sect. So upon them is to recognise the falsehood of the Shi’ite sect and free themselves from it, and not continue to ascribe themselves to the Shi’ah.
Truly, a religion is known by its sources, and not by its ignorant followers who have not studied, and we have quoted here the beliefs of the Shee’ah from their own sources that cannot be denied.
May Allaah protect the Ummah from the evil, vile and disgusting beliefs of the Shi’ite religion.

Shias are non Muslim who adhere to the following belief; that Hazrat Ali [RA] is Allah, or that Hazrat Jibreel brought the divine revelation “Wahi” to Nabi Muhammad [SAW] through error, and that the revelation was in fact supposed to go to Hazrat Ali [RA], that the Qur’an is incomplete, that alterations were carried out on the present Qur’an, that the false accusation against Hazrat Aisha [RA] is true, or that Hazrat Abubakr [RA] was not a Sahabi. Thus any Shia holding any of the above beliefs is not a Muslim nor will it be permissible to treat him as a Muslim.
Those Shias who do not hold the above mentioned erroneous beliefs but use inappropriate language against the Sahaabah [RA], and show disrespect and undermine the status of Hazrat Abubakr, Umar and Uthmaan [RA] will not be non Muslims according the opinion of the Experienced Ulama though they are in stark misguidance and out of the creed of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaat. To us they are the true successors to the Prophet (pbuh). And regarding the stones/shrines, we don't worship these either. These shrines are of our Imams and many shias go to see these shrines on the days when they martyrd. It's just an act of respect because these imams are direct relatives of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Many sunnies have a corrupt view of shias. And that's because the information you get is from Sunni scholars who want you to have a bad perspective of Shias. If your going to get your information get It from a Shia scholar.

You seem to be influenced by "Doctor" Zakir Naik. These words "Shia" and "Sunni" are not meant to divide Islam, it's just a word used to characterize what you believe in. For instance the Shia believe that Imam Ali(A) was the true successor the Muhammad(S) while the Sunnis believe it was Abu Bakr who was elected. The religion of Islam is not being split, they're merely using terms to catagorize people based upon their ideology. We all so salah(sunnis do it different based upon their ideology), and etc but the religion is being split and we're all still worshipping Allah the almighty and merciful.

Ahlusunnah wal Jamma'ah, which is representing the majority of muslim, acknowledge 4 Madzhab (Syafi'i, Hanafi, Maliki, Hambali) while wahabism have no madzhab. so they are not Ahlusunnah wal jamma'ah.
This Wahabis, who call themselves Salafis, are a group who had appeared in the last few centuries and hold beliefs contrary to the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah.
They try to pull the wool over our eyes by affiliating themselves with the Salaf (Sahabah and Tabi'en) but in effect their beliefs and practices are completely in contradictory with those of the Salaf.
The Wahabis are in essence Mujassimah (anthropomorphists-Those who attribute
a body to Allah Ta'ala).
They attribute a hand, leg, face etc to Allah Ta'ala, while the illustrious Ulama of the Ahlus sunnah wal Jama'ah hold fast to the belief that Allah knows best the meaning of these words.
Similar is the case with all the sifat (qualities) etc in the Quran ie. the Wahabis take them on there apparent meaning , claiming that interpreting the Quran is not permissible, while we say that Allah knows best what it means or at times we interpret it in a suitable manner.
-The Wahabis reject the permissibility of using a deceased person as a intermediary in dua, while Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah hold that it is permissible.
-The Wahabis reject the Ambiyaa being alive in their graves
- The Wahabis hold that Allah is really resting on His throne in the sky, while Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah hold that this is from the Mutashabihaat.(Those unclear statements hose meaning is only known to Allah).
- The Ulama of the Ahlus sunnah wal Jamaa'ah disagree with the destruction of numerous blessed historical landmarks by the Wahabis.
-The Ulama of the Ahlus sunnah wal Jamaa'ah hold that taqleed of one mazhab is necessary, while the Wahabis generally do not adhere to a mazhab and claim that following one imam blindly is Bidah and shirk.
-There are dozens of other differences.
The Wahabis are vehement opponents of the Asharis and Maaturidis, who constitute the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah and are two groups whose beliefs are correct. They also vehemently oppose tawassuf.
It is necessary for us to be on our guard against them as they are very active propagators of their Baatil and false beliefs.

I'm still firm in my beliefs but I understand where atheists are coming from. I can't blame non-muslims for their perception of Islam seeing as us Muslims aren't doing a very good job at showing the world what Islam is really about. The state we're in is embarrassing, just look at videos like this and the foolish comments people post.
in Quran, there is not a word about SUNNI, SHIA, WAHABI or any other sect. there's only one word, "MUSLIM".

Qur'an is the Ahsanul Hadith and Qur'an is the most Mutawatir riwaya. Other Hadith and Sunnah is important, but Qur'an is the most important and most reliable testament for all the Muslims.

Shia is based on Imamate Pillar. Imamate is based on Hadith Kiswa. Hadith Kiswa is based on 33:33. So what is in 33:33 that made Shia invent whole new eco-system that did not exist called Shiasm Imamate?
Short answer. Shia thought that this verse gives Infallibility to Ahlul bayt.
There are no Infallible Imams in Islam though. Well this a major claim but what is evidence for this? In Islam, we should base our claims, religion on solid base. We have the last revelation of God. So what is better than using the last Revelation of God, Quran, for this? Nothing of course.
Here are the verses taken by Shias to indicate the infallibility of Imams. As you will see this has nothing to do with Infallibility.
1) Read the verses and see first the verses before 33:33 and after, who they talk about. Summary, they all talk about Wives of Prophet SAW. There is no second guessing to it.
33:30 O Consorts of the Prophet! If any of you were guilty of evident unseemly conduct, the Punishment would be doubled to her, and that is easy for Allah.
33:31 But any of you that is devout in the service of Allah and His Messenger, and works righteousness,- to her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have prepared for her a generous Sustenance.
33:32 O Consorts of the Prophet! Ye are not like any of the (other) women: if ye do fear (Allah), be not too complacent of speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but speak ye a speech (that is) just.
33:33 And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet's] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification.
وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَىٰ وَأَقِمْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتِينَ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا
33:34 And recite what is rehearsed to you in your homes, of the Signs of Allah and His Wisdom: for Allah understands the finest mysteries and is well-acquainted (with them).
2) The word purify or “Yutahirakum” is taken by Shia as infallibility. The truth is, this word has nothing to do with infallibility. What is the evidence again for this?
a. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاةِ فاغْسِلُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُواْ بِرُؤُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَينِ وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُواْ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَى أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاء أَحَدٌ مَّنكُم مِّنَ الْغَائِطِ أَوْ لاَمَسْتُمُ النِّسَاء فَلَمْ تَجِدُواْ مَاء فَتَيَمَّمُواْ صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَامْسَحُواْ بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُم مِّنْهُ مَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍ وَلَـكِن يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهَّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ.
Here is the meaning:
5:6 O YOU who have attained to faith! When you are about to pray, wash your face, and your hands and arms up to the elbows, and pass your [wet] hands lightly over your head, and [wash] your feet up to the ankles. And if you are in a state. requiring total ablution, purify yourselves. [But if you are ill, or are travelling, or have just satisfied a want of nature, or have cohabited with a woman, and can find no water-then take resort to pure dust, passing therewith lightly over your face and your hands. God does not want to impose any hardship on you, but wants to make you pure, and to bestow upon you the full measure of His blessings, so that you might have cause to be grateful.
إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ النُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّن السَّمَاء مَاء لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الأَقْدَامَ
8:11 [Remember how it was] when He caused inner calm to enfold you, as an assurance from Him, and sent down upon you water from the skies, so that He might purify you thereby and free you from Satan's unclean whisperings and strengthen your hearts and thus make firm your steps.
Note : “لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم” and “لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ” Look these words in 8:11 and the end of 33:33.
As you see, especially 8:11 that God used the same words he used in 33:33. Can we take all the Companions who were in Badr were also Infallibles from 8:11? Of course we know this is not take case. Similarly 33:33 has nothing to do with infallibility of Ahlul Bayt in short. This is beside the point who are the Ahlul Bayt.
3) Lastly, Who are Ahlul bayt “أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ“ according to Quran?
God used Alhal bayt in three places in the Quran. Here are the three places.
a. وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَىٰ وَأَقِمْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتِينَ الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا
b. قَالُواْ أَتَعْجَبِينَ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللّهِ رَحْمَتُ اللّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ إِنَّهُ حَمِيدٌ مَّجِيدٌ
c. وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَرَاضِعَ مِن قَبْلُ فَقَالَتْ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ يَكْفُلُونَهُ لَكُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُ نَاصِحُونَ
English:
a. 33:33 And abide quietly in your homes, and do not flaunt your charms as they used to flaunt them in the old days of pagan ignorance; and be constant in prayer, and render the purifying dues, and pay heed unto God and His Apostle: for God only wants to remove from you all that might be loathsome, O you members of the [Prophet’s] household, and to purify you to utmost purity
b. 11:73 Answered [the messengers]: "Dost thou deem it strange that God should decree what He wills? [105] The grace of God and His blessings be upon you, O people of this house! Verily, ever to be praised, sublime is He!"
c. 28:12 And We had prevented from him [all] wet nurses before, so she said, "Shall I direct you to a household that will be responsible for him for you while they are to him [for his upbringing] sincere?"
In short, all three include or talk about women folk of the house. So people who claim this is specific to Fatuma, Ali, Hassan, and Hussain RA are totally mistaken.
Summary: My points are:
1) What is Ahlul Bayt according to Quran? Where else does God use Ahlul Bayt in the Quran and who does he talk about?
Answer: God mentioned Ahlul Bayt in two other places. Both places women are included. Note: this does not remove the other people from the word.
Highlight: If the other places God included women, then this to includes the wives of the Prophet. Hence, people who say wives of the Prophet are not Ahlul Bayt are wrong.
2) Who does the preceding and following verses of 33:33 talk about?
Answer: They talk about all about the wives of the Prophet SAW.
Highlight: It makes sense this verse, complete, also talks about the women of the house.
3) What does these two words: “لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم” and “لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ” mean? Do they mean Infallible?
Answer: No they dont.
Answer is this verse:
إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ النُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّن السَّمَاء مَاء لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الأَقْدَامَ 8:11
[Remember how it was] when He caused inner calm to enfold you, as an assurance from Him, and sent down upon you water from the skies, so that He might purify you thereby and free you from Satan's unclean whisperings and strengthen your hearts and thus make firm your steps.
If “لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم” and “لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ” gives people Infallibility like Shia like to claim, then there are over 300 people who will be Infallible according to this verse.
Highlight: These two words have nothing to do with Infallibility.
Summary: Now about the hadith. We accept hadith of the Prophet SAW. The hadith though does not deny what God has already given. It adds to its meaning though. In this case, it adds Fatima, Hassan, Hussan, and Ali RA to the Ahlul Bayt.
Either case, without Infallibility, there is nothing we really disagree here. Because the reason why Shia want to make the Ahlul Bayt exclusive to Fatima, Hassan, Hussan, and Ali RA is they want to make them Infallibility.
In Short, Shias are fighting a losing battle when they argue about who are Ahlul bayt.
Sahabs were human beings with no extra powers. Some used to drink, some fell on Zina or other sins, from the accounts we know, because simple they were human beings. What we do know though is that they were the best of Mankind like God said. It is not me who is praising them but God. Look the following verses.
3:110 YOU ARE indeed the best community that has ever been brought forth for [the good of] mankind: you enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong, and you believe in God. Now if the followers of earlier revelation had attained to [this kind of] faith, it would have been for their own good; [but only few] among them are believers, while most of them are iniquitous.
Who was God talking about here? Primarily them, the Sahaba of the Prophet SAW. God the knower of the past, present and the future.
8:74 And they who have attained to faith, and who have forsaken the domain of evil and are striving hard in God's cause, as well as those who shelter and succour [them]-it is they, they who are truly believers! Forgiveness of sins awaits them, and a most excellent sustenance.
Who are the best believers? According to God, them.
48:18 INDEED, well-pleased was God with the believers when they pledged their allegiance unto thee [O Muhammad] under that tree, for He knew what was in their hearts; and so He bestowed inner peace upon them from on high, and rewarded them with [the glad tiding of] a victory soon to come

48:29 Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah ; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers - so that Allah may enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward.
3:103 And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were ENEMIES and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, BROTHERS. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be GUIDED.
Could you believe a people God said I will make them brothers become enemies with swords in their belies moments after prophet SAW died? You have option to either believe God or unsubstantiated Shia sources that were written hundreds of years later.
8:62 It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers.
Question is did God supported with Prophet Mohamed with believers or Hypocrites? Read Quran and accept what God teach you, you will be GUIDED ones God Willing.
Not only that, But God wants you to do this:
59:8 For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] approval and supporting Allah and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. THOSE ARE TRUTHFUL.
59:9 And [also for] those who were SETTLED in al-Madinah and [adopted] the faith before them. They LOVE those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what the emigrants were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the SUCCESSFUL.
59:10 And [there is a share for] THOSE WHO CAME AFTER THEM, SAYING, "Our Lord, forgive us and OUR BROTHERS [first and foremost Muhajirin and Anar] who preceded us in faith and PUT NOT in OUR HEARTS [ANY] RESENTMENT TOWARDS those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."
In other words, forget about having resentment towards them, God wants you, Mumin/Muslim, to make dua for them.
I end with this:
If Shia have any point in Shiasm, let them bring anywhere where God said follow Ali, Hussien, Hassan, or in that matter any Companion? If Shia have any point in Islam, let them bring anywhere where God said Shia Imams are define or Infallible?
On the other hand, God has said this:
33:21 VERILY, in the Apostle of God you have a good example for everyone who looks forward [with hope and awe] to God and the Last Day, and remembers God unceasingly.
And if you came with path other than the path taken by the Prophet, then indeed you are n danger.
4:115 But as for him who, after guidance has been vouchsafed to him, cuts himself off from the Apostle and follows a path other than that of the believers - him shall We leave unto that which he himself has chosen, and shall cause him to endure hell: and how evil a journey’s end!
Who was God pleased with more? Me, you, or others in this age or the ones God mentioned above? If you believe Allah and you hold Quran as the word of God, then you get the answer from the Quran. If however this is not the case, then this whole explanation is not for you. This is for Muslims and Mumins.
Follow only God and his Prophet.

At the day of ghadeer Our prophet Mohammed s.a may peace be upon him said that after me I am leaving to things to my people ... one is the holy Quran and the other is ahllabayt (the family of prophet) if u follow them u will never be misguided ... Imam Hussain sacrificed his life for Islam .. we shias follow the path which our prophet says ... we don't think imam Ali is greater than our prophet or equal to Allah ...thinking such things is a big sin but after the end of nubuwat ... Imaamat starts which means the end of prophets and a new era with Imam... those who believe in muawiyah and yazeed will definatley go to hell and those who says shias are kafir then you all will see at the day of judgement that who is a real kafir ...we shias don't kill innocent peoples nor do spread hatred towards other ... we are the follower of imam ali and his teachings... and Imam Ali and prophets teaching will help us to go to heaven if we rightfully.. We start by reading the hadeeth from Sahih Muslim Book 031, Number 5920:
Yazid b. Hayyan reported, I went along with Husain b. Sabra and ‘Umar b. Muslim to Zaid b. Arqam and, as we sat by his side, Husain said to him: Zaid. you have been able to acquire a great virtue that you saw Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) listened to his talk, fought by his side in (different) battles, offered prayer behind me. Zaid, you have in fact earned a great virtue. Zaid, narrate to us what you heard from Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him). He said: I have grown old and have almost spent my age and I have forgotten some of the things which I remembered in connection with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), so accept whatever I narrate to you, and which I do not narrate do not compel me to do that. He then said: One day Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood up to deliver sermon at a watering place known as Khumm situated between Mecca and Medina. He praised Allah, extolled Him and delivered the sermon and. exhorted (us) and said: Now to our purpose. O people, I am a human being. I am about to receive a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord and I, in response to Allah’s call, (would bid good-bye to you), but I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The second are the members of my household I remind you (of your duties) to the members of my family. He (Husain) said to Zaid: Who are the members of his household? Aren’t his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said: ‘Ali and the offspring of ‘Ali, ‘Aqil and the offspring of ‘Aqil and the offspring of Ja’far and the offspring of ‘Abbas. Husain said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes.
This hadeeth is also narrated in other books: Tirmithi, Ahmed, an-nasai, al-hakem and others. Almost all the links are for pages in Arabic. I will translate the important points inshaAllah as I go along.
Mosnad of Ahmed:
Ibn Namir told us that Abd Al-Malik (Ibn Abi-Sulayman) told us according to Attia Al-`ufi who said: I asked Zayd Ibn Arqam and I told him that some people told me a hadeeth according to you about Ali (rah) in the day of Ghadeer Khumm and I want to hear it from you. So Zayd said: You people of Iraq, you have what you have. I told him: Do not worry about me. He said: Yes we were in Al-Juhfa and the prophet(peace be upon him) came to us holding the hands of Ali (rah) and said: O people don’t you know that I am with the believers from their selves. They said: Yes. He said: . [Attia] said: Did he say: (O Allah: Befriend whosoever befriends him and be the enemy of whosoever is hostile to him). [Zayd] said: I told you as I heard it.
The saying “man kuntu mawlah fa Ali mawlah” is correct and strong.
The addition , “O Allah: Befriend whosoever befriends him and be the enemy of whosoever is hostile to him” is also correct, albeit weaker.
However, the scholars of hadeeth classify any extra additions as and hence we will not talk about. We will only talk about the authentic versions shown above.
This hadeeth is used to prove that Ali is the khalifa. The Shia says that “mawla” means “wali” (leader) and hence this incident means that the prophet is telling the Muslims that Ali is the next khalifa.
This is their point regarding this hadeeth. The difference, then, is the meaning of “man kuntu mawlah, fa Ali mawlah”. The shi`ah says that it means “man kuntu waleeh, fa Ali waleeh”.
The Sunnah says that it means love and close relation. Muwalat is the opposite of Mu`adat. The proof comes from the first addition: “oh Allah waali man walaah wa `adi man `adaah”. (O Allah befriend whosover befriends him and be the enemy of whosoever is hostile to him). So we are talking about muwalah and mu`adat (love and enmity). It is about the love of the people to Ali (rah).
Before we talk about that, let us talk about why the prophet said so.
Background:
The Shi`ah claim that the prophet ( peace be upon him ) stopped people in this place in the hot weather and they say that their number was more than 100 thousand and that this was the place where all the people of Hajj were gathered and the main reason is that the prophet ( peace be upon him ) wanted to tell the people “man kuntu mawlah fa Ali mawlah” in addition to their additions.
The reason for this stop overat Ghadir Khumm is as follows:
Read this hadeeth from Bukhari volume 5, Book 59 Number 637:
Narrated Buraida: The Prophet sent ‘Ali to Khalid to bring the Khumus (of the booty) and I hated Ali, and ‘Ali had taken a bath (after a sexual act with a slave-girl from the Khumus). I said to Khalid, “Don’t you see this (i.e. Ali)?” When we reached the Prophet I mentioned that to him. He said, “O Buraida! Do you hate Ali?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “Do you hate him, for he deserves more than that from the Khumlus.”
In other narrations (al-tirmithi and ahmed), in addition to the above, the prophet said: “O buraida man kuntu mawlah fa Ali mawlah”
So Ali took one of the slaves named Waseefa as his slave and then after having sexual act with her, he was taking a bath. Buraida (rah) became angry. He thought why would Ali take one of the slaves for himself. So he mentioned this to the prophet(peace be upon him).
Al-bayhaqi narrates from Abu sa’eed that Ali prevented them from riding the camels of the sadaqa that they acquired. He then made a person to be their leader and went to the prophet(peace be upon him). When Ali came back, he found that their leader gave them permission to ride the camels. When Ali saw that, he became angry and he blamed the leader. (In another narration, it mentions that they were new clothes that Ali prevented them from wearing but they wear them despite his orders). Abu sa’eed said that when we went back to madina, we mentioned to the prophet the harshness that we have seen from Ali. The prophet said: Stop O saad ibn Malik: O By Allah I have known that he is done good for the sake of Allah. (Ibn Katheer says that this hadeeth is on the conditions of Al-Nasaie)
Ibn Katheer said that the people in the army started to talk about Ali (rah) because he prevented them from riding the camels and took back the new clothes that they acquired. Because of that, after the prophet ( peace be upon him ) was done with the Hajj and while returning back to Madina, he stopped to explain to the people how some of the qualities of Ali and stress the closeness of Ali to him and the importance of loving Ali. He did so to remove what was in many of the hearts of some of the people against Ali.
That’s why the prophet ( peace be upon him ) delayed talking about this topic until they were close to Madina and he didn’t talk about it in Makkah during the Hajj. On the day of Arafa, the prophet ( peace be upon him ) spoke to the people and and he never mentioned this topic at all. After he finished his sermon, he said “Did I convey the message” and the people said “Yes” then he said “O Allah be my witness”.
Why did he delay the topic till after Hajj? Because this topic is only of concern to the people of Madina because those who talked about Ali were from Madina as they were the ones who went with Ali to the battle. He talked about it in a place called ghadeer khumm in a place called Ju’fa, which is near Madina on the way from Makkah. See Map
A simple look at the map is enough to refute the shi`ah claim that this is the gathering place of the the Hajeej. People gather for Hajj at Makkah and leave the Hajj at Makkah. The Hajeej don’t leave from a place so far away from Makkah. After Hajj, the people of Makkah stay at Makkah. The people of Al-Taif go to Al-Taif. The people of Yemen go to Yemen. The people of al-kufa go to al-kufa and so on. All the tribes go back to their homes. The people that went with the prophet(peace be upon him) were the people of Madinah and those who are using the road of Madina to go to their dwellings. These are the ones that the prophet( peace be upon him ) talked to when he said: “man .kuntu.”.
Also the speech was not only about Ali despite the fact that Ali deserves the speech and more (may Allah be pleased with him). But in the speech, the prophet ( peace be upon him ) reminded the people with the Quran and its importance. He also reminded the people of the love of his household (may Allah be pleased with them) and then he mentioned Ali (rah). So there were more than one topic that the prophet ( peace be upon him ) talked about.
The meaning of ( Mawla )
Ibn Al-Atheer says that the word (mawal) in the Arabic language could only mean:
rabb = Lord
malik = owner
mun`im = benefactor
mu’tiq = liberator
naser = helper
muheb = lover
haleef = ally
aabd = slave (for example: Zaid ibn haretha was the mawla of the prophet ( peace be upon him ))
sihr = brother-in-law
ibn al `am = cousin
The arabs would use the word mawlah to mean all of the above. But what did the prophet ( peace be upon him ) mean by his word?
First the hadeeth has no evidences for the imamah (leadership) because if the prophet ( peace be upon him ) wanted to mean khilafah or imamah, he wouldn’t have used a word that can have all these meanings. He would have said something like: Ali is your khalifa (or imam) after me, or when I die, listen and obey to Ali ibn Abi Talib. But the prophet didn’t use any of these clear words. He said: “man kuntu …”.
Imam Shafi’i says that this is the walaa of Al-islam because Allah(swt) says in the Quran (Surat Muhammad,verse 11:
That is because Allah is the Protector (mawala) of those who believe, and because the unbelievers shall have no protector for them (47:11)
In the Quran (Surat Al-hadid (The Iron), verse 15), Allah (swt) says:
So today ransom shall not be accepted from you nor from those who disbelieved; your abode is the fire; it is your friend (mawlakum) and evil is the resort.
He called the hell fire “mawla” for the extreme closeness to it by the kuffar.
Note also that the word mawlah is different than the word waly.
The waly comes from walayah which is the leadership. Whereas mawlah comes from wilayah which is love and nusrah (help and aid).
Allah (swt) says in the Quran (Surat At-tahrim ,verse 4):
Then surely Allah it is Who is his Guardian (mawlah), and Jibreel and -the believers that do good, and the angels after that are the aiders.
It means love, nusrah and help.
The prophet ( peace be upon him ) used the word mawla not only to describe Ali but to others as well. The following hadeeth is narrated in Bukhari Volume 4, Book 56, Number 715 & and others.
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “The tribes of Quraish, Al-Ansar, Juhaina, Muzaina, Aslam, Ghifar and Ashja’ are my helpers (mawaalii),, and they have no protector (i.e. Master) except Allah and His Apostle.”
There are other examples as well but I think that the above is sufficient to make the point.
It is also important to point out that the prophet ( peace be upon him ) did not say “after me” (in any authentic narration). He only said “man kuntu mawlah fa Ali mawlah” without giving any time frame. This means that this fact is timeless. If the prophet ( peace be upon him ) had meant “whoever among you is under my leadership, he is also under the leadership of Ali”, which is the meaning that the Shi`a understands, if the prophet had meant it as such, then there would be a big problem. Two leadership for the Muslim ummah at the time of the prophet ( peace be upon him ) does not make a lot of sense.
Of course, the prophet did not mean it that way and also the companions at that time did not understand it that way, otherwise there would be a great fitnah. However, it is possible to have more than one mawla at the same time - to love, help and aid the prophet and to love help and aid Ali (rah).
The Sunni view is that the hadeeth of ghadir khum has nothing to do with who the leader is after the prophet(peace be upon him).
It means, however, that Ali is loved by the prophet (peace be upon him) and that we should love him and give nusrah to him. May Allah (swt) join us with Ali and the rest of the companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) on the pool to drink from the honorable hands of the prophet ( peace be upon him ).
There is also one more funny thing that the Shias say. They say that during the illness of Prophet Muhammad saw wanted to write his will on paper to declare that Ali (r) was to be the next Khalifa however Umar (r) came in the way and did not let the will be written.( see the truth of the pen and paper incident here) Now if Ali (r) had already been nominated as the Khalifa at Ghadir Khumm that why do the Shias give so much importance and make such an issue out of the incident of pen and paper!! The answer is that because their claims are based on twisted stories and concepts and if one looks at them from a logical mind, they all can be shattered! Inshallah

First, this is not about letting down of Ali RA. Far from it. His better than all you grave worshiping Shia combined.
Perhaps you are forgetting Ali Ibn Abi talib was a Sunni, wahabi, Nasibi, call him whatever you want but he was following only the tradition of Prophet Mohamed SAW. Laugh on you as you think Islam is about grave worship. Didn't these so called scholars ever told these hadith:
“`Ali b. Abi Talib asked me, “Shall I not send you to do what the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) sent me to do?-That you leave no figure except that you erase it, nor an elevated grave except that you level it.”
Or that Ja'far al-Sadiq said this in narration from: Ali b. Ibrahim, from his father, from ibn Abi Umayr, from Hammad b. Uthman, from Abi Abdullah [Ja’far Al Sadiq] (as) said: My father(as) said to myself in day of illness: When I die bathe me and shroud me, and raise my grave by four fingers, and sprinkle with water. [Wasail Al Shia with Sahih Sanad]
In other words, no Temple.
Or this from Prophet SAW: “The prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa ala alihi wa salam) said: “Don’t take my grave like place of worship or “Kibla”, Allah cursed jews which build Mosques over graves of their prophets”.

I really thought i would see something shocking here, but all i saw were baseless claims as "its a good deed to lie on other muslims in shia islam" which is just fake propaganda and lying on your behalf. And you cant even fact check what the host said, because he said "in the last weeks" and you showed a random recitation.
The argument by the caller is completely invalid, as the khawarijun in the times of the third and fourth caliph were known to be the best quran recitators and the first people to stand in the prayer, but still they fought against the caliph of their time and are seen as generally wicked persons still today.
Just because someone recitates beautifully and prays his prayers on time, doesnt mean his inner beliefs are in accordance to the truth. Unfortunately many people believe they are on the right way, ignoring historical events and following the wrong persons.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ (7)
وقوله: ( إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ )
يقول تعالى ذكره: إن الذين آمنوا بالله ورسوله محمد, وعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفاء, وأقاموا الصلاة, وآتوا الزكاة, وأطاعوا الله فيما أمر ونهى ( أُولَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ ) يقول: من فعل ذلك من الناس فهم خير البرية. وقد: حدثنا ابن حميد, قال: ثنا عيسى بن فرقد, عن أبي الجارود, عن محمد بن عليّ( أُولَئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ ) فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أنْتَ يا عَلي وَشِيعَتُكَ".

Do you know what context that verse was revealed in just out of curiousity? Those who use that verse and make this point are usually people who don't even know the language of the Quran, arabic for one, and for second don't know much about the great tafsirs whether they are from Shia or Sunni scholars. Go and read Al Mizan of Allama tabatabai or the tafsir of Fakhar deen Razi

1) The first verse was revealed to establish a new rule that Muslims could not marry the Prophet’s (SAWW) wives and the second commandment was revealed to emphasize the very rule. It is similar to the case of the verses of Zakat. Zakat was mentioned in the Qur’an several times, initially to establish a new rule with the remainder occasions emphasizing the requirement of Zakat.
