How To Shop For A Wedding Dress: Tips For Finding The Perfect One

I have a plan for everything and this is where I am starting with Dress shopping. I had a look I liked going into it and had a basic understanding of what I thought I wanted, but I still plan to try on different shapes and styles to see what I like best.

Here’s a suggestion get someone to take pics of you in the gowns you try on because you may like it in the mirror but not on camera. You can always comeback after you try on a bunch.

Consider also whether you want a veil. If so, do you want something long and traditional or small? Would you prefer a hat, tiara,or mantilla? These are things to consider as you choose your dress.

Be sure to allow the person who will be pulling your dresses to pull something out of your comfort zone that they may think as sometimes you go in thinking this is what you want and once you try a different look it clicks. My daughter went think long sleeve medieval dress and bought sleeveless layered lace and silver dress with a corset. So also try to be a little open for at least one item.

I am going to try my best to thrift a dress, but If I can't find the right one I am going to buy it.
I also wanted to go try them on to see what I need to look for as I thrift for dresses. I have the next two months to find one before my window for ordering one closes so I want to make sure I have one for the big day
