That is a DC-10. ❤Beautiful. You know my heart belongs to the DC-10. There came from United Airlines and I bet you I saw them when they were flying outof Stapleton Airport in Denver.
I was coming home from work one day going down airways there by the airport and I was listening to music with my earbuds in and I had my windows down and an airbus got beside me and it scared me lol
Lucky....! We have a viewing area at Bergstrom about 800 ft from the runway, but all the heavies including FedEx land on the opposite side of the airport
Is this the same location where you filmed the morning rush video ? This reminds me of the now defunct Stapleton Airport in Denver: it had a runway that bridged the expressway and it was fascinatung to watch the planes from that vantage point.
Joyce I too lived in Denver. I would park on the side runway. Park and sit there watch my babies (DC-10'S ) take off and land. Those were the good old days.
Great video! I always love seeing the 777 at Memphis, reminds me of the old days when heavy Jet like that flew in on a daily basis from Northwest, Delta, KLM...
That is a United Airlines DC-10. I would know that engine sound on the moon. Ah ha I sure would. They were my babies at Stapleton in Denver. Now these winglets make this what an MD-11 or 10?
Winglets only on the MD-11. The MD-10 modification package didn't include winglets. And it wouldn't be possible to tell a DC-10-10 of United from one of American. They both had the same engines.
If I were a pilot, I would much rather fly for FEDEX vs. a commercial airliner because cargo doesn't talk & it's peaceful! Great coverage!
And no screaming babies in the airplane cabin
Nothing better than this. I wish I lived in Memphis so I could see these trijet beauties all the time! 😍
I live in Memphis and I'm glad FedEx still operates the MD-11 because i love that aircraft
3 of them operate into Oakland and Phoenix
Yep

Nick Fenton you really took the time to do this! Lol much appreciated
You're very welcome. Great video! I'll be watching this one for a good while.
Great job! Between the 300 and the 10/11, it won't be long before shots like these are a thing of the past.
@@peeps_8644 the cellphone area is my favorite place to watch planes at memphis airport
That sound moves through your whole body. I love it.
FedEx is known for operating older aircraft
Memphis is a great place to see DC-10's still flying
Amazing sound there @ 1:58.

Thanks for this, nice spotting. Like the way the aircraft slowly vanish into the cloud layer. Subbed.
I love these Fed Ex videos.
Beautiful video.... :)

757’s in Memphis are the best. They scream louder than any other aircraft when they takeoff. I woke up to one this morning, pure power.
Very nice video. Well done. Молодец!
That was a good day to see the big boys fly out
Hi, I know I'm a little late, but what camera are you using?
FedEx spent a lot of money modernizing the DC-10 cockpit so i can't even imagine that FedEx will retire them anytime soon
The DC-10 and md-11 will eventually be replaced by the 777
No I think they are running alongside them
Loved to see the dc 10
Awesome video love it.
Love the DC10. First plane I jump seated on 30 years ago. Panoramic view. Just awesome with its size.
awesome video!
So cool!
Does anyone know if FedEx still operates the DC-10-30F? . Nice Record Congratulations... 😍🇧🇷👌
the 777 i tracked it was heading to seoul
FedEx only fly's 10's and 30's of the DC-10
More aircraft arrivals and departures on the nightside not to mention all the truck traffic
I like this FedEx has a tryjet!! Wow wow wow wow wow!!
?
Thank you Peeps _86
I love the video
Where is this location you are filming from?
Awesome vantage point
It's weird. I just drove under that bridge in the beginning today and now it came in my recommended.
Amazed how many md 11s fedex still use
wow. An MD10 and everything….
Great video! I always love seeing the 777 at Memphis, reminds me of the old days when heavy Jet like that flew in on a daily basis from Northwest, Delta, KLM...
It was heading to Seoul
What’s that name of that sound from 2:03-2:07. Sounds like a hi reviving flyby cbr1000
engine buzzsaw (engine buzz for short)
