The Greatest LEGO Game of all time because: 1. It has an excellent crossover of dimensions from Scooby-doo to The Simpsons, from Ghostbusters to Doctor Who Even Sonic the Hedgehog 2. It has a cast of characters especially Gary Oldman as Lord Vortech And 3. It’s the only LEGO game where the figures go into the game, just like Skylanders and Disney Infinity
Toys to life is just incredible and is what made these games so fun! You got to have an army of character that felt real in a story sense and literal one! I dont see why people hate it other than the fact of buying a bunch of toys.

I still have these characters, vehicles, and props all in a box in my living room. I know I probably will never go through the effort to reinstall the game, rebuild the portal and hook it all together like I did when the game first came out, but I know that when I look in that box, good nostalgia will always meet me there. Thanks for everything Lego Dimensions, you’ll always hold a special place in my heart. I’ll always take a listen to this whenever I cycle back through my Watch Later playlist, and who knows, maybe I’ll pop back into Vorton again…one day

The greatest LEGO Game ever! The variety of franchises and amount of things to do just makes this so magnificent coupled with some hilarious dialogue, awesome graphics, and sweet little references to each series! I love this just so much!

Is it possible to get nostalgia from a game that you haven't touched for just over a year. I remember me and my best friend played this game all the time and we always talked about the new characters and such. Eventually I moved away and hadn't touched the game until recently and just a wave of memories went through my head. Luckily me and my friend still hang out even though we live farther away now

Some of the music from this game was taken from Lego marvel superheroes. In the first level with Thor, the music is the same as some parts of Lego Dimensions, sometimes exactly the same.
It’s been three years since I stopped playing due to my copy being getting an Xbox One, whilst my copy was on 360 I still have all my characters and vehicles I’ve just ordered the game on eBay I can’t wait.

MultiVersus is a good game, but I feel like LEGO Dimensions did it better of how the representation of the many Warner Bros franchises are handled, as well as the many third-party inclusions such as Chell from Valve's Portal, The Simpsons from FOX, and, the most popular, Sonic The Hedgehog from SEGA. Nowadays, Warner Bros just act like memes are canon in their movies/TV shows like the infamous "SSJ" or "Ultra Instinct" Shaggy meme that has died literally years ago.
If lego ditched the toys to life aspect of the game, included bigger maps, character customization, better campaign, more franchises along with the existing ones and a whole bunch of other content, lego dimensions 2 would be an amazing game. Imagine a world creator as well. It would be my dream lego game.
@@r2-kt743 Another gripe I have is that they used licenses they'd already used in the past. I think I'd rather buy a full sized game where you used the I.P. rather than buy a snippet for 20 bucks. That leads me to my next point. These packs needed to be full sized campaigns to warrant how much they costed. Either make a full sized game out of the license or make a worthwhile enough dimension. Wasted oppurtunities.
Lastly, what it comes down to is that, unfortunately, on paper lego dimensions sounds like a culmination of everything you would want in a lego game, when in reality it's the lego game that leaves you wanting the most. I shouldn't be wishing that Adventure Time, or The Simpsons or Teen Titans were all full blown lego experiences, that's what they should've been. It just ends up feeling like a handful of demos with some mildly entertaining gimmicks. It's not dlc or game add-ons like other titles, it's the main bulk of the game. I feel TT didn't fully realize that. A toys to life game I would say got the idea right was disney infinity. The playsets, as they're referred to are full length campaigns with tons of side quests and interesting characters. Even with these however, Disney also had a bunch of other content featured in-game such as the toy box and user created levels. It felt like a fully realized toys-to-life experience.

I still remember that morning I woke up to this under the christmas tree. Took me all day to build the portal. I love this theme music. Packs are too goddamn expensive for this otherwise amazing concept and game. Please for the love of god TT, make a second one with no separate purchases. That shit would sell like hotcakes.
I managed to get the whole collection and still play the game, now on Series X with the auto-hdr and boost and its visuals are astonishing. A remastered version with all the packs in digital form would be awesome to re-discover this game! It's amazing the level of interaction they achieved between the game and the player in the real world with the base and figures. And hubs like Hill Valley, the town and caverns from the Goonies, Scooby's Haunted Mansion or the New York from the Ghostbusters with even the river of slime are gifts for the fans.
Mine would be dedicated to a forest made of various metals (complete with liquid Mercury streams) and be populated with feather coated dinosaurs. The exception would be the giant temple on top of a mountain, in honor of MEGA BLOKS! MWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

The Greatest LEGO Game of all time because:
1. It has an excellent crossover of dimensions from Scooby-doo to The Simpsons, from Ghostbusters to Doctor Who
Even Sonic the Hedgehog
2. It has a cast of characters especially Gary Oldman as Lord Vortech
And
3. It’s the only LEGO game where the figures go into the game, just like Skylanders and Disney Infinity
Toys to life is just incredible and is what made these games so fun! You got to have an army of character that felt real in a story sense and literal one! I dont see why people hate it other than the fact of buying a bunch of toys.

I still have these characters, vehicles, and props all in a box in my living room. I know I probably will never go through the effort to reinstall the game, rebuild the portal and hook it all together like I did when the game first came out, but I know that when I look in that box, good nostalgia will always meet me there.

The greatest LEGO Game ever! The variety of franchises and amount of things to do just makes this so magnificent coupled with some hilarious dialogue, awesome graphics, and sweet little references to each series! I love this just so much!

Is it possible to get nostalgia from a game that you haven't touched for just over a year. I remember me and my best friend played this game all the time and we always talked about the new characters and such. MultiVersus is a good game, but I feel like LEGO Dimensions did it better of how the representation of the many Warner Bros franchises are handled, as well as the many third-party inclusions such as Chell from Valve's Portal, The Simpsons from FOX, and, the most popular, Sonic The Hedgehog from SEGA. Nowadays, Warner Bros just act like memes are canon in their movies/TV shows like the infamous "SSJ" or "Ultra Instinct" Shaggy meme that has died literally years ago.
If lego ditched the toys to life aspect of the game, included bigger maps, character customization, better campaign, more franchises along with the existing ones and a whole bunch of other content, lego dimensions 2 would be an amazing game. Imagine a world creator as well. It would be my dream lego game.

@@r2-kt743 Another gripe I have is that they used licenses they'd already used in the past. I think I'd rather buy a full sized game where you used the I.P. rather than buy a snippet for 20 bucks. That leads me to my next point. These packs needed to be full sized campaigns to warrant how much they costed. Either make a full sized game out of the license or make a worthwhile enough dimension. Wasted oppurtunities.
Lego worlds could've expanded on this idea but instead we kind of just got a minecraft clone.
Lastly, what it comes down to is that, unfortunately, on paper lego dimensions sounds like a culmination of everything you would want in a lego game, when in reality it's the lego game that leaves you wanting the most. I shouldn't be wishing that Adventure Time, or The Simpsons or Teen Titans were all full blown lego experiences, that's what they should've been. It just ends up feeling like a handful of demos with some mildly entertaining gimmicks. It's not dlc or game add-ons like other titles, it's the main bulk of the game. I feel TT didn't fully realize that. A toys to life game I would say got the idea right was disney infinity. The playsets, as they're referred to are full length campaigns with tons of side quests and interesting characters. I still remember that morning I woke up to this under the christmas tree. Took me all day to build the portal. I love this theme music. Packs are too goddamn expensive for this otherwise amazing concept and game. Please for the love of god TT, make a second one with no separate purchases. That shit would sell like hotcakes.

I managed to get the whole collection and still play the game, now on Series X with the auto-hdr and boost and its visuals are astonishing. A remastered version with all the packs in digital form would be awesome to re-discover this game! It's amazing the level of interaction they achieved between the game and the player in the real world with the base and figures. And hubs like Hill Valley, the town and caverns from the Goonies, Scooby's Haunted Mansion or the New York from the Ghostbusters with even the river of slime are gifts for the fans.
