UP trains at Bridge over the Green River in 4K

  • This video, shot in early December 2017 in 4K using a Panasonic G85 M43 camera, shows two trains crossing the Green River on the western end of the city of Green River Wyoming. It was below freezing and windy wish made it not only unpleasant but also made getting good quality audio real difficult. It was windy enough that you can see the camera shake occasionally even though it was on a tripod.
    The railroad bridge that crosses the Green River was nicely illuminated with afternoon sun as is the landscape formation in the background including the Castle Rock as well as Wild Horse Canyon.
    This stretch of UP line is quite busy with trains averaging, while I was there at least, about two or more per hour. About half a mile east of the bridge over the Green is the pedestrian bridge over the yard that is seen in another video from Green River that was recently uploaded. About 12 miles west of this bridge is the town of Bryan that is now considered a ghost town.
