Ukhrul will only change when Ukhrul is open to the world for trade, commerce and investments. I think India’s restrictive policies of cutting off Ukhrul from the rest of the world and putting the military in the region is one of the reasons why the state is a bit backward economically

I am from tamenglong... It is so easy to be encouraged and much more easier to be discouraged. Our society.. our family lacks intimacy and there is a huge chasm.. in terms of communication . It is so sad that we have no one to confide with apart from our parents
