जम्मू-कश्मीर की सियासत में लंबे वक्त तक अहम भूमिका निभाने वाली नेशनल कॉन्फ़्रेंस के नेता उमर अब्दुल्ला एक बार फिर चुनावी मैदान में हैं. उनकी कई पहचान और उपलब्धियां हैं. वे प्रदेश के सबसे कम उम्र के मुख्यमंत्री होने के अलावा केंद्र में मंत्री भी रह चुके हैं.
एक और चुनावी शो के सफर में हमने उनसे जम्मू-कश्मीर की सियासत, विपक्षियों के सियासी दांवपेंच, बीजेपी की कश्मीर को लेकर जारी नीतियों के अलावा भविष्य की संभावनाओं पर भी खुलकर बात की.
चुनाव को लेकर अपनी उम्मीदों पर बात करते हुए उमर अब्दुल्ला ने कहा कि वे एक जादुई आंकड़े की उम्मीद कर रहे हैं. साथ ही उन्होंने बीजेपी पर निशाना साधते हुए मैच फिक्सिंग का भी इल्जाम लगाया.
कश्मीर के सियासी दांवपेंचों की तरफ इशारा करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि विपक्ष उनके खिलाफ जेल से लाकर उम्मीदवारों को खड़ा कर रहे हैं.
शेख इंजीनियर की रिहाई को लेकर उमर ने कहा कि उनकी रिहाई से हम परेशान नहीं हैं लेकिन इन बदली हवाओं पर नजर जरूर रखे हुए हैं क्योंकि पिछले चुनाव में हमने उन्हें हल्के में लिया था.
