as someone from Scandinavia, I can tell you that Aune would NOT be pronounced as Auna. We do not pronounce "e" as "a". Google Translate's pronunciation of the word is close enough to how we'd pronounce it.
@@13thnotehifireviews7 yeah, I'm just pointing out that the brand is quite off target with saying that the way they pronounce Aune is how people in the Nordic region would xD
@ArtificialDjDAGX well I obviously can’t pronounce a word as a Norwegian or Finnish person etc as the exact dialect and pronunciation because im British, and it depends which country you are from too which you never said. The point I’m making is if you pronounced it as a British person, or English speaking to which this audience relates, more often then not people would say awne (sounding like own) as one syllable pronouncing the w. The e is silent in British pronunciation. If you put aune into Google translate for Norwegian or Finnish there are slight differences, but the E is a second syllable and sounds in English more like an A sound. Also does this really matter ?
@@13thnotehifireviews7 I can't hear it be pronounced as an "a" sound in either the norwegian or finnish modes. Anyways, you are fully correct in that it doesn't matter. It's just fun to be stupidly nitpicky sometimes :) Have a great day!
@@ArtificialDjDAGX yeah this is as I thought…..you are not English so your feeling that it’s not pronounced as an A, is not the same as a British or English persons thought that it sounds like an ‘A’. Obviously this channel is to a british / english speaking audience and I’m going to interpret it as such…..
Is this a better option than a chord qutest dac given they are similarly priced, SQ is my top priority or any other options around 1k pounds. I just need a dac, so no need for preamplifier or headphone amp integration.
Late to viewing the video but if you are looking for just a DAC with excellent sound quality suggest the Holo Audio Cyan 2 DAC. Delivered about $1300 US. Best sounding DAC I’ve heard for Under $2K.
why is there no stock of Aune s9c pro in UK apart from the faulty one on ebay and the one that comes with the headphones from I think it was Eden Audio..Very weird
Love your artist recommendation style. Proper.
Thank you very much

Thanks too, they are awesome….happy land (on United Kingdom’s)
@@13thnotehifireviews7 it sounds like an Audiophile recording,at least in my system
I think you are right, same in mine too!
Great conductor analogy
I’ll wait for the upgraded “ time crystals”
Just kidding. Interesting product
Thank you for this review... very interested in hearing your opinion on how the Aune S9C and S17 pair together... Thanks in advance
The s17 Class A amp works really well with the resolving s9c pro and my Hifiman’s and is a good tempering influence.

Does the SC1 come with a BNC cable?

I was reiterating what the brand told me, right or wrong.

Probably very popular.
I purchased the faulty one, and they sent the replacement part to repair it.
About the Aune SC1 Clock, what's the voltage on the square output?
Donno did you check the manual or ask Aune?
RTF...Really Terrific Femtoclock
RTF means: Reference Timing Frequency 😀
Reasonable price for an oven controlled clock(s).
